Smoke behaving like a liquid

When smoke behaves like a liquid, it’s often due to the phenomenon known as "smoke suspension". This happens when smoke particles, which are essentially tiny droplets or solid particles suspended in air, become dense enough to resemble the behavior of fluids. In certain conditions (such as low air pressure, humid environments, or specific air flows), the smoke can spread, flow, and behave in a way similar to how liquids move. This can be especially observed in a "smoke ring" or "smoke trails" where the movement of smoke appears more like a flowing liquid due to its viscosity and density. In summary, although smoke is made up of suspended particles, under certain conditions it can exhibit fluid-like behavior.

A heat-changing bowl uses thermochromic ink to change color when filled with hot liquid.

The dragon incense burner uses a backflow incense cone, which produces smoke denser than air, causing it to cascade down instead of rising. The cone’s hole creates a downward draft, pulling the smoke through. The burner’s design guides the smoke with minimal air resistance, creating a flowing, liquid-like effect. If tilted, air disrupts this flow, causing the smoke to rise. Regular incense lacks this design, so its smoke naturally rises into the air.

I found it.. #ad

I love these! I have one, and it is so cool to watch! 🤩🤩

Wow, I’d love one of these!! Looks so cool. Would it set off the fire alarm?

Smoking is injurious to health and it causes many respiratory diseases like lung cancer

It's called the dragon fall
