I work in medicine and I do see this bizarre paradox where if you make it to say like 65 as a smoker and haven’t gotten COPD, cancer…etc. you live to be like 101. It’s probably correlation but there’s something there. Plus they’re usually thinner too.

Might be something to it lol. My Grandfather smoked from 15-94 years old. (and drank) He was very active. A farmer and firefighter. In retirement he was always out in the garden or woodworking.
