🚨 WANTED ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT APPREHENDED IN STARR COUNTY 3/14/26: The Texas DPS Brush Team, working alongside U.S. Border Patrol in Roma, Texas, tracked and apprehended two illegal immigrants hiding in the brush during the early morning hours. One individual, identified as Diogenes Saravia Ochoa, 45, of Honduras, was found in possession of a Virginia Learner’s Permit and a fictitious Social Security card. 🚨 WANTED ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT APPREHENDED IN STARR COUNTY 3/14/26: The Texas DPS Brush Team, working alongside U.S. Border Patrol in Roma, Texas, tracked and apprehended two illegal immigrants hiding in the brush during the early morning hours. One individual, identified as Diogenes Saravia Ochoa, 45, of Honduras, was found in possession of a Virginia Learner’s Permit and a fictitious Social Security card. Further investigation revealed Saravia Ochoa is wanted out of Virginia for a violation of release conditions related to a DUI. VIDEO: 6/8/25 – A Texas DPS Trooper stopped a Ford F-150 towing a trailer with hay bales in Val Verde County as part of #OperationLoneStar. The driver gave inconsistent travel details and denied consent to search. A U.S. Border Patrol K-9 was called in and alerted to the trailer. Underneath the hay bales, two illegal immigrants from Mexico were found. The driver was arrested and charged with smuggling of persons. The driver, Wilber Adonay Serrano Ruiz of Houston, TX, was charged with smuggling of persons after troopers discovered four illegal immigrants from Mexico concealed inside the vehicle. The illegal immigrants were turned over to the U.S. Border Patrol.
