It's a snake. You can't have a relationship with it.

Why do people insist on owning these animals?

While I don’t mind handling snakes, that right there is why I wouldn’t want to own one as a pet

A snake is NOT your pet. It will wait till it’s given an opportunity to eat you. It’s been proven a MILLION times over. Wake up!!

As a previous large constrictor owner, I can say that snake either smelled something on her that was the smell of "food" to the snake or, it was an overtly & generally aggressive snake like the Burmese or African Rock Python. Kind of hard to tell from the video which species this is. There is a reason why these breeds are not for novices and require experience in ownership. Either way, having another person, a snake hook and a calm disposition was helpful.
