SNEAKO learns why God is not a man and cannot die LOGICALLY ✝💯 "God cannot be stripped of his bodily control, granted he is a human. Thus, that makes him limited. Therefore, logically, God is not a human and cannot die."

When Islamists continue to reject the previous scriptures, they will continue to not understand God. Jesus’s life wasn’t taken, He gave it up. And He took it again in His resurrection. “Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again. No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father.” John 10:17-18

@muslimorthodoxy you’re attacking a doctrine Christianity does not teach, so here is the actual claim plainly. Christians do NOT believe God stopped being God, transformed His divine nature into flesh, or became a mere human being. The claim is that the eternal Son, who already possessed the divine nature, assumed a complete human nature without surrendering His divine nature. He did not subtract divinity. He added humanity. That distinction answers the argument you keep repeating. When Jesus became hungry, His humanity experienced hunger. When Jesus became tired, His humanity experienced fatigue. When Jesus slept, His human body and mind experienced sleep. When Jesus suffered, His humanity genuinely suffered. When Jesus died, His human body genuinely died. None of that means His divine nature became hungry, exhausted, unconscious, mortal, or ceased to exist. And saying one Person possesses properties belonging to two different natures is NOT automatically a contradiction. A contradiction would be saying Christ is mortal and not mortal according to the same nature and in the same respect. Christianity does not say that. It says According to His humanity, Christ is mortal. According to His divinity, Christ is immortal. According to His humanity, Christ has a finite human body. According to His divinity, He is not bounded by that human body. According to His humanity, He possesses a genuinely human intellect. According to His divinity, He possesses divine knowledge. These properties differ because the natures differ. Yet the Person possessing both is one Christ. Think about what nature actually answers. What is He? Divine. Human. Person answers Who is He? Jesus Christ, the eternal Son. So Christians are not saying Jesus is one nature that is simultaneously created and uncreated, finite and infinite, mortal and immortal. THAT would be contradictory. We are saying the one Person possesses two complete natures, and the properties belonging to either nature can truthfully be spoken of the one Person. That is why Christians can say God suffered and died for us without claiming the divine nature ceased existing. The Person who suffered is God the Son. The nature through which He suffered and died is His humanity. And this is exactly where your argument keeps collapsing. You start with the conclusion dead cave man delivered six centuries later Jesus cannot be God. Then you work backward. Jesus ate, therefore not God. Jesus slept, therefore not God. Jesus suffered, therefore not God. Jesus died, therefore not God. But every one of those observations establishes something Christianity already teaches Jesus was truly human. None establishes the conclusion you actually need therefore Jesus could not also possess the divine nature. You keep proving half of the Incarnation and pretending you disproved the other half. Before dead cave man ever entered his cave, Christians were already wrestling with these questions precisely because their testimony concerning Christ compelled them to account for both His genuine humanity and His divine identity. So stop forcing a seventh century answer backward onto Christ. If you want to disprove Christianity, address what Christianity actually claims. Show the logical contradiction in one divine Person possessing both divine and human natures without either nature becoming the other. Until you do that, pointing out that Jesus slept, ate, suffered or died is not an argument against the Incarnation. It is evidence for the humanity the Incarnation already affirms. ✝️

God has the ability to do all things possible, and a true contradiction is not a thing. Like, a lying, weak, or dying God is not a THING.

The defeater the debate with NickSV OM is already on record affirming “a rock has agency.” This came about with his pressure on the rock that stole moses clothes. We distinguish genuine agency from mere inanimate causation, an agent can voluntarily produce an effect through an inanimate object without that object thereby becoming an agent. Ironically, OM explicitly qualifies the rock itself as an agent, collapsing the distinction between agency and mere causal efficacy that his later argument requires. 2. OM affirms Quran 39:42: Allah takes souls during sleep and returns those decreed to continue living. 3. OM also affirms that the soul animates the flesh. Therefore, agency cannot simply be identified with presently exercised voluntary bodily function, agency belongs to the personal subject who exercises bodily powers. 4. Yet OM then argues that when Christ’s bodily functions cease, Christ thereby loses agency and sovereignty. That inference does not follow from his own premises. With all this in mind he then attempts to force a false dichotomy: Either Christ retains voluntary bodily function and therefore never truly dies, or he loses bodily function and therefore loses agency and sovereignty, meaning he cannot be God. But this conflates personal agency, divine sovereignty, bodily animation, and voluntary motor function. Christ providentially wills to undergo the separation of his human soul from his flesh and thereby permits his flesh to cease being animated, that is precisely what makes his human death genuine. Yet neither Christ’s human soul nor his dead body is separated from the Logos, although soul and body are separated from each other, both remain hypostatically united to the same divine Person. This is affirmed fully by all apostolic Christians. Christs flesh becoming incapable of voluntary movement does not entail that he loses agency. Refraining from exercising a power is NOT the same as losing that power. And OM’s criterion creates a problem on his own terms, if the absence of voluntary bodily control itself entails loss of personal agency, then sleepers would likewise lose agency when voluntary bodily control is suspended especially given Quran 39:42’s description of Allah taking souls during sleep. Sleep and death are obviously not identical, the point is that lack of presently exercised bodily control is insufficient by itself to establish loss of personal agency. And them saying “we resurrect too and we don’t claim divinity” also is an awful equivocation that misses the argument. The issue is not whether resurrection uniquely proves divinity, it is whether genuine death entails that the person who dies must have been deprived of sovereignty or overpowered against his will. Nothing in the concept of death alone establishes that. And this is where the decisive Christological asymmetry lies, in Christ’s death, his human soul ceases animating and separates from his body, but the Logos separates from neither. As stated above. The body is genuinely dead because it is no longer animated by the human soul, the Person does not cease to exist or lose sovereignty because the Logos remains hypostatically united to both. So OM has confused “Christ no longer voluntarily moves his dead human body” with “Christ no longer has agency or sovereignty.” The first establishes genuine human death, and as we’ve shown it simply does not entail the second. If the Logos providentially wills to assume a human nature hypostatically united to himself and voluntarily undergo death according to that human nature, then the resulting cessation of bodily functions occurs in accordance with, rather than in defeat of, his sovereign will. The cessation therefore cannot itself be evidence that sovereignty was lost. On the Christian account, Christ’s death belongs to the divine redemptive purpose the Lamb is presented in Revelation as slain within that providential

I mean Jesus says many times he is laying his own life down before the crucifixion, so it sounds like he has complete and utter control and agency of his biological system's demise, this is a very ignorant or dishonest argument.

Muslims will always tell God what He can't and can do. They also don't understand the hypostatic union at all. Jesus took on humanity while still maintaining His divinity. Just like the Trinity, Muslims take issue with the hypostatic union, only because they can't understand it completely while saying "God would never..." or "God could never..." Who are you, but clay, thinking you can tell The Potter how He should act or be. His divine and human natures do not blend, dilute, or change into a new third nature. They remain distinct yet are inseparably joined in one person.

Weak arguement. Assuming determinism, and Islam is deterministic, all bodily actions, all events, everything is predetermined. So the Lord, even incarnate, is not in a state of a loss of control.

The reason why Muslims party all night during Ramadan, when they are suppose to be fasting, is because their god is so stupid that he can't see what they do at night. My God is so powerful that he could become a man, die, and raise himself from the dead..
