Yesterday, after failing to find the man who had built a structure on top of a tree along Jogoo Road, I went back today and was glad to find him. I engaged with him and he shared with me his story, explaining why he had chosen the tree as his home. He shared his desire: if only he could get a mkokoteni, he would use it to transport goods for pay and earn a decent living enough to rent a house rather than continue staying on the tree. With the little I had, I purchased a mkokoteni for him. In addition, I will ensure he secures a rental house with four months’ rent fully paid, giving him a fresh start and a safe place to call home. I was deeply moved to see him smile, and it reminded me how powerful even a small act of kindness can be. If you are out there and have the ability to help someone in need, please do it could change a life.

Imagine a man who believed in you so much that as they put nails through his hands and feet, he begged the creator to forgive them, "for they know not what they do" That man suffered immensely for you. The night before, he sweat blood. On the 13th of Sept, someone transferred 180k for an iPhone Xs 256GB. After acknowledging his receipt, he called, and I told him we don't have it but will ask colleagues and let him know. I asked my friend, and he told me 190k. I begged him to leave it at 180k because that is what the guy deposited (check frame 2 for reference). When he sent the phone from Kano to Jos, then I noticed it was an Xs Max. Seeing that the guy was in a hurry and didn't want to disappoint, I called him and told him what happened and said if he wants the Max, he can take it at no additional cost. I was willing to settle the difference because it was his first time buying from us. I packaged it with a new premium charger because all our used phones are sent packaged in our branded box with a charger, and I sent it to him in Abuja. He later messaged that he has received the phone and truly appreciates it. After months of not receiving any complaints from him, it clearly indicates that he has received a fully functioning phone. It is in our policy that if you find anything faulty within one week, you can return it to us and either ask for a replacement or refund. What this means is that the cost of bringing it from Kano to Jos, the packaging and charger, and the delivery to Abuja are all a loss to me. But I didn't mind because at least I have satisfied him. Nine weeks later, while I was in Kano, I saw a call from an unknown number. When I picked up, he said it was him. He told me that the camera has started giving him problems. I told him it has been months since you bought it, but you can take it to any repair store and tell me how much you spent, and I will pay. He asked if I know anyone, and I sent him someone's number. The guy didn't pick; he texted and informed me and later called me. I told him to go to anyone he trusts and let me know the amount he spent. A few days later, I was stranded between Kaduna and Abuja on my trip from Kano to Abuja because my car engine failed. He called, and I didn't pick; I don't even know his number. Later in the night, I received his messages on WhatsApp with a threat that he will make a video to tarnish the image of my business. Someone I was willing to help after months of buying a USED device from me is threatening me. I said he should go ahead because I can't entertain him anymore. In conclusion, a trade that I incurred a loss from is what some people are trying to justify as a scam. The beautiful part is I have made trades with hundreds of people here, and I would love two more people to come out and present a case in which they are still using a device I sold to them that is faulty and they contacted me for a replacement or refund, and I didn't do it instantly. I dont know this guy's name, but I see his videos all the time and seems like a real good person. At this Walmart, a customer was annoyed with him "gifting" money to random folks. My guess is they were upset he didn't give them money. They apparently called the police on him to have him trespassed as he was JUST TRYING TO HELP people. Why can't people just mind their own business. What is so wrong with someone randomly helping people... Good lord.

Miko did everything she could kindly and peacefully to advise Kodiak against escalating with people he was fighting because they were targeting his friends. She got firmer with him as people got doxxed and he took it as her calling him a cowered and lashed out and flipped on her. Miko only tried to advise him on what would prevent escalation and from getting people hurt. Instead he went on a warpath, casting out friends attacking others and teaming up with the don to help perpetuate lies against Miko and he helped with passing info for thedonofeverythings doxx info and data archive along with neevin. Miko's attempt to help him from going down a bad path was repaid by a large knife in the back, and he went after me for being Miko's friend. Every kindness I gave him he was just taking advantage of me. For the children's charity event, he even decided last minute to keep part of the money for the children's hospitals. Video attached so you can hear it in his own words. he asked for money for his home repeatedly on short urgent notice for hundreds of dollars, and just left me on the proverbial side of the road because I was friends with Miko who was trying to give him advice so his friends wouldn't get hurt by him provoking others. I became friends with Kodi because he wanted support as a veteran for men's mental health month, i met him through Miko. It was in my first months of being a streamer, I had no clue what kind of person he was I was looking to make friends and he was fun to play games with. I knew he was hard into politics and that wasn't my thing and time spent with him was focused on playing games. he was becoming friends with my husband and talking to him about army stuff, and abandoned him as well without a word. Right in the middle of a gaming campaign together. he abandoned his "fellow army veteran buddy" without one single word or DM. Whatever Kodiak does with his life, I hope he finds a path that's good and helpful to others and creates more peace than harm. I'm strongly concerned for his mental well being and how he handles things online and hope he seeks help. may he have a blessed life just not at my table. This is the last i want to speak on this.

Today I met a bright young man from my constituency whose mother proudly shared that he had passed for Calabar High. She brought him to me with a request, for a laptop to help him on his journey. I spoke with him about the importance of education and the responsibility he carries to honour his potential and care for his mother. I see promise in him, and I believe in what he can become with the right support. I will be providing him with a laptop to help him take the next step. Because when we invest in our youth, we invest in the future of Jamaica.

A hard rescue today as I got a message from a kind local lady who needed help with an old blind dog. The poor boy was most likely dumped in the area because the “end was close for him”. He was confused on the beach and stuck. He wouldn’t have lasted much longer were it not for their bravery. His vet results were about as bad as it gets. His eyes might be glaucoma as he can’t see a thing and his kidneys and liver are bad as well as severe anemia. His anemia is so bad we can’t even put him on a drip. While I was driving him around I just had to keep talking to him as his head would keep dropping. His body is so weak. He is also very hard to handle as he lashes out with bites as he can’t see what is going on around him. He is terrified. The ladies called him Rocky as they are hoping he will make a comeback. It won’t be easy at all but he did start eating, drinking and resting well this evening. We will all have to keep everything crossed for this lovely boy. Whatever happens he isn’t on his own and he has the best medical care now. Rocky even let me pet his head tonight. I think he understands he is safe.
