Peaches are the best! A little advice….poke holes into the cake mix all the way to the filling. The filling will bubble up and help make the crust. My mom would also sprinkle sugar on the top,( cinnamon as well for peach and apple). It made a sweet crunch!

Aldi has “Fried Apple” pie filling. I don’t know if it’s seasonal or always there but I’m already planning out how I’m gonna make use of it. Bathing in it is on the table and I am not ashamed to say it.

Am I the only one that wonders what the liquid is, precisely, in canned pie filling? I can’t eat it because I have no idea what it is. It’s certainly not fruit juice… actually, no relation to the fruit from what I can tell.

The cinnamon on the apple is a good idea, but it is basically a crumble but with cookie dough instead of oats/walnuts.
