It's all fun and games until you have to get back home after a long, fun ski day! This video was taken at 6 PM at Alta Ski Resort. The resort was forced to close early because they got too much snow too fast, 44 inches in 48 hours. Overnight avalanche mitigations expected. #utah #skiutah #skibus Video: Andy Hyer Alta Ski Resort, Little Cottonwood Canyon, Utah

At Russia’s Dombay resort, a wolf ran onto a ski slope and chased a snowboarder The predator sprinted straight down the slope but failed to catch the person and eventually fell behind. Now that is truly extreme tourism.

This is from one day ago - Ukrainians at their elite Bulkovel ski resort, waiting to hit the slopes! Nice incomes for such hobbies! As their countrymen are dying.. MSM won’t show you this!

Did you know Telluride is one of the more "natural-snow-dependent" resorts in CO. Running at about a 50% deficit of normal this year, the area is thankful for any snow they can get! 5" of new snow overnight!

🎿❄️ SERIOUS Mountain Snow incoming for the Cascades and Sierra Nevada and skiers are about to be VERY happy. Up to 8 FEET or more of snow could fall in just a few days, creating extremely dangerous travel at higher elevations, especially through mountain passes. Strong winds will make conditions even worse, with gusts possibly reaching 70 mph, leading to near-zero visibility at times. I wouldn’t be surprised if some ski resorts temporarily close due to too much snow, especially around Lake Tahoe, where the biggest totals are expected. I’ve been there before. At least someone is getting a White Christmas 🎄❄️

⚠️ A LUDICROUS amount of Snow is likely in the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range this week. Higher elevations could see OVER 100 INCHES of Snow. That's… more than 8 FEET ❄️ Multiple waves of Heavy Snow will fall as a PARADE OF STORMS slams California , one after another. Storm 1⃣ will arive today with Storm 2⃣ arriving Wednesday and Storm 3⃣ arriving Thursday. ❄️Snow will be heavy at times with strong winds, making mountain travel difficult to impossible, especially through the passes. Expect major delays and dangerous driving conditions. 100 inches of Snow is ALOT of Snow....❄️

❄️UP TO 70 INCHES of PURE POWDER has already fallen in the Sierra Nevada, with another 1–2 feet of Snow still to come today. Snow has been absolutely PUKING over the last 24 hours, with near-constant rates of 1–2 inches per hour. More than 2 FEET has fallen in just the past day alone. Truly unreal. Ski resorts have been getting CRUSHED. Here are some of the biggest 24-hour totals: ❄️ Sugar Bowl Resort: 30" ❄️ Mammoth Mountain: 24" ❄️ Bear Valley: 24" ❄️ NorthStar California: 23" ❄️ Lake Tahoe: 21" Many resorts are temporarily closed due to extreme snow and wind, but once things reopen… it’s going to be an absolute gold rush to the mountains for this fresh powder. 🚗I would still avoid Traveling today in the mountains if you can. Its going to be awhile until the Roads are passible in many areas. Skiers, this is what dreams are made of ❄️🎿
