If the police and RSPCA don’t follow through with proper action here, what message does that send? That our dogs’ lives are disposable when it’s inconvenient for us? I’m angry. I’m heartbroken for those dogs. And I’m tired of seeing this happen every summer with barely a slap on the wrist. Some people shouldn’t own a budgie, let alone dogs. What sort of moron leaves two animals locked in a car on one of the hottest days of the year? Those poor dogs didn’t just die they suffered and baked to death. It’s cruel, it’s utterly irresponsible, and there is simply no excuse for it. What do you think should happen to the owners? I certainly think there should be servers consequences including imprisonment.
