A year ago I made a video about the RIDL CPU vulnerability. In case you haven't seen it, here it is uploaded to Twitter directly! The most interesting part of this has been learning about the prior research that later lead to the discovery of these modern side-channel vulnerabilities. I also spend more time explaining "speculative execution" and how these CPU cache timings can be used as a side-channel. If you haven't seen it yet, give it another chance :)

Most C Programmers don't have a clue as to how the CPU works. Here is a lecture from my course on the C Language that introduces how to visualise the CPU as a C (or general software) Programmer.... More Details are at: Being able to model the behaviour of CPU provides a solid base to reason about your code. The summary is - - The CPU is a state machine which maintains it's states in registers. - It has busses to memory for requesting data/instruction read/writes. - Interrupts to attend to events. I discuss this and more in my course on the C Language.

You should be blaming the head coach. Get that first. I was not the one letting me go one-on-one the whole game until I had 70, and then you started to send a double. At that point, I got 70 with, like, what? nine minutes left to go in the game you think i'm not going for it like like and that's the thing that's crazy when they talk about the unethical part of the basketball i'm like if i have 70 points with 9 minutes to go Who would just be like, you know, coach, just take me out. Yeah, right. Anybody in my shoes with nine minutes left? Okay. A minute? All right. Nine? Yeah, I'm going for it. You can't be mad at that. If you are mad, I don't care because a lot of people, they're upset because if they did play, they never had a chance to get that close to chasing greatness. And then if you get that close to chasing greatness, that's the point of chasing it so you can surpass it. And some of the people have never played basketball. So like if you've been in the backyard and you and a couple of your homies have been playing 21 and you got 19. You're not going to get an easy look off. Dude, I haven’t touched my CPU since February. Getting back into it is crazy, but I just brought it back to life—synthesized and simulated. Can’t wait to hack on it again at the end of the month. It’s insanely fast and will be a Linux CPU. I’m super hyped. SystemVerilog forever.

If you've got a top five coach and the twentieth best quarterback, you're not going to be successful and they're going to fire the coach. And once you start firing coaches, which I always think is interesting and I'd love to learn from you guys, why do you fire so many coaches all the time? Tottenham had three coaches here. Why is everyone firing everybody? Don't they realize the players play? I'm sure if you have Leo Messi as your, as your, as one of your forwards, or one of your strikers you're not going to lose that much.
