But calling the entire May 8 PURSUE UAP release “all old news” minimizes what’s new: Pentagon now frames them as official UAP cases w/ annotations + fresh DOD analysis on the Apollo 17 triangular dots (“potentially the result of a physical object in the scene” after re-examining original film). Not *all* is old. Respectfully, that official re-framing is driving the hype.

It's an official release of source archives containing a mix of former classified & very recently (in gov terms) declassified doc's. 1st batch is a test batch from my understanding of some obvious misunderstandings identified as UFO/UAP. The good stuff is in later batches & will be eventually moved to / The president has met with (UK's King, Japan's PM, etc) & called (Putin, XI, etc) several world leaders recently (in the last 2months after Feb's announcement) to mention/prepare them to expect questions. Now as far as the legit sounding rumors go there has been a rumor about a U.S/U.K agreement on "a" tech release of something that could benefit/jump-start the economies like chip manufacturing did.
