Apparently, when Yeonjun went to Prague to film the MV, he didn’t even take any free time for the 3 days he was there (aside from going out for an hour to eat pho) It wasn’t that he didn’t have any free time, he was focused on maintaining himself so he’d finish filming, go straight to the gym and that was basically it for him 🤍 3 days? 🦊 Ah yeah, we gave ourselves 3 days just to be safe 🤍 But you really didn’t have much time, did you? I mean, you could only go out for about an hour, right? 🦊 You mean while filming? 🤍 Yeah, like there was only about an hour where you could actually go out and do something 🦊 Since I was filming at the time, I also had to manage myself so I deliberately just came back once filming was over, worked out and went straight to bed 🤍 You didn’t want to explore the streets of Prague? 🦊 I really wanted to so I figured “Now that I know it’s such a nice place, I’ll come back next time just to visit” and kept that thought for later

A snared giraffe. A vast wilderness. This giraffe’s story could have ended right there. Thankfully, that’s exactly why our aerial patrols exist: to scour remote landscapes looking for things out of place. The tracks of poachers, signs of trees being cut down or, in this case, an injured animal. From then on, our routine daily patrol morphed into a rapid‑response mission to save this snared giraffe – and, as you’ll see, it ended with the patient rising back to their feet, snare‑free and much happier. A few days ago, Timeless celebrated its 1 year anniversary. I don't post much on my Twitter anymore and haven't talked much about Timeless in general, so figured now would be a good time! Sorry this is long, but it's been a year so.... Timeless began as a passion project for myself and @Th3MFG, who I met over 3 years ago at @HourZeroOW. I wasn't sure how long it was going to last if I'm being honest, since Overwatch teams are always in and out, but we worked really hard and strategized how we wanted to grow from the very beginning. As a SMM, I've always heavily focused on creating entertainment and highlighting the personality of players. One of my biggest goals with Timeless was to not only have incredible teams, but to spotlight them with content and social presence. This along with MFG's people skills, Tim | Vite Ramen Founder's passion for the scene, and Doc's management ability created the best core I could possibly ask for. I have to give HUGE props and thanks to the OG management NAVI debit, Urzo, & Amir. They all played a big part in finding our first roster of 9z CLEAR, @Arrow_OW, Doomed, obi, 동훈, Otters, @Thunda_ow, and the leading force cuFFa. Since the beginning we've had dozens of amazing additions to our teams and content staff, but if I put everyone in this tweet it'd somehow be 100x longer than it already is LOL but I'm very thankful for everyone who's been part of this journey so far. This group of people have achieved so much in what feels like such little time. From our players and staff getting OWL opportunities, to our CAH team winning 4x championships and partnering with 2x OWL teams, this project has been one of the biggest blessings of my life. I honestly can't express how much it's helped me as a person and how many unforgettable memories I've made. There are a million more things I want to say and a million more ways I want to express how grateful I am for everyone involved, but for now I'm just gonna say one last thank you to everyone who has supported us and everyone who has put so much effort into what Timeless is today. Because “It threatens the DISEASE MODEL.” A meta-analysis out of Italy found what happens when people take Vitamin D, and the results are staggering: Looking at data from 19 different studies and 1.26 million individuals, the meta-analysis revealed: • Vitamin D showed about a 60% effectiveness against the incidence of COVID-19 in randomized control trials. • Vitamin D showed about 40-50% effectiveness in reducing the incidence of COVID-19 in observational studies. • For preventing severe COVID-19 cases requiring ICU care, vitamin D supplementation was about 70% effective. We didn’t need to lock ourselves inside for years, live in fear, and vilify our neighbors for not wearing a mask. That was literally the worst thing we could have done. I have enormous respect for Demis Hassabis. Probably the most important scientist of our time. But when he talks about the future impact of AI on the job market, it comes across as more reassuring than a clear thesis (as in this clip) On the one hand, he says that empirical evidence doesn't really show that AI is affecting the job market - this already contradicts what Georgieva, managing director of the International Monetary Fund, said recently in Davos. But much more importantly, Hassabis says that AI will create many new jobs, in creative fields, app development, and so on. But that doesn't make sense. Dario Amodei says that AI could cause 20% unemployment in the US in the next five years. Let's be conservative and assume 10%. Currently, 164 million people are employed in the US. 10% would be 16 million. So, 16 million people are supposed to develop apps, move into the creative sector (and also compete with the rest of the workforce in that field), not to mention that AI agents will presumably be able to program a large number of apps simultaneously much faster. Therefore, the question remains: how is it mathematically possible to create so many new jobs in such a short time to offset all the unemployment? I haven't found a logical explanation yet. In that respect, Hassabi's statement seems more like an attempt to reassure people, to avoid jeopardizing Google's business and development, and to tell them: don't be afraid of the future. AI won't be a problem, but will create new solutions. But I don't see any solution in the job market yet. With all due respect, it is nevertheless worrying that this enormous societal consequence is not being discussed empirically and seriously. There should be a large-scale panel on AI and the job market where leading scientists present their studies and discuss them with one another, instead of simply throwing out theories and assumptions time and again.

Alright! Fafner Heaven and Earth wasn’t as sad as I expected. It showed how Festum and humans are trying to understand each other. I can imagine a future where they might coexist, even though it seems far off now. The story gave some hope, especially with its focus on communication and connection. But there are also some humans that are really stubborn as hell, refusing to allow the possibility of peace between two kinds, blocking them from doing the right thing. That arrogance could lead to more pain and destruction, there's already too much of it happening. Still, I’m hopeful it’ll work out in the end, so I’ll keep watching. What’s next???

So much mental game gold here from Scottie Scheffler after winning The Masters. My takeaways: 1. Preparation builds confidence. Want to go into anything feeling more confident? Know deep down that you prepared as best as you possibly could. Having a personal ‘Checklist for Success’ of the things you do that are 100% in your control that leads to the best you showing up is huge here. 2. Process over Outcome mentality. When we are ruthlessly focused on our process (the action steps that are in control), the outcomes we want (not totally in our control) come our way as a by-product, especially in the long run. 3. Feeling nervousness, anxiety, fear, etc., is normal when competing. All athletes experience those emotions, especially in big moments. The best of the best have learned how to use those emotions to enhance their performance, rather than be held by back them. When you combine all of that, you allow yourself to find out how good you can be and you more and more consistently show up at your best, when it matters most. Scottie being the best in the world is not on accident. It’s clear that he’s very intentional and on purpose with how he approaches the mental side of the game.
