My guess is fixed pitch. No pitch indicators seen in the console.

I would bet dollars to donuts it is fixed pitch.

Also question if Throttle or increases fuel to engine was stuck as well. What emergency shutoff systems do they have?

For the far less knowledgeable ship people, myself included... allision is not a typo.

Seems like you're not the only person thinking this. According to this person the sister ships of the Mexican ship do have CP Props.

We had a CPP fail on the TS TEXAS CLIPPER II and we went full astern as the default when the oil pressure failed, so it is certainly something to investigate.

My buddy dated a girl named Allison, trouble indeed.

Interesting, I assumed it was an older mechanical engine, modern CAT Diesel Engine and display, but not the Cat electronic controls. hydraulic or air controls. Mathers or ZF Mathers, Glendinning, to the cat engine, throttle and solenoid gear, controls in the engine room.

She has a CAT D399 SASC with either a 7251, 7261 or 7271 transmission.
