So I just finished Belobog for the first time (back at launch I played until I met Clara, and had to stop due to other games I was playing), but after having completed it, I will say with 100% certainty, Honkai Star Rail might have one of the sickest... version 1.0's I've ever played in a Gacha game. No hate to other games, no shade to other games, no tribalism at all - I'm just genuinely in shock and awe at how well put together this story is and how great of a conclusion to Belobog this had. You need to give games credit, where credit is due. HSR's accomplishment with 1.0 doesn't make any other game less incredible. It just means HSR 1.0 is that good. I'm almost done with 1.0, and will then be starting Genshin Impact 1.0 from scratch, then Zenless Zone Zero 1.0 from scratch, but I'm excited to see how HSR continues to improve from here.show more

@ByteStix Played up to all of Penacony, watched the first few patches of Amphoreus. 3.1 alone is 10+ hours. That's a total of at least 70+ hours, up to 3.3. But yeah, okay, forgive me for not wasting any more of my time on that overbloated bs.

@ByteStix what are you doing to make 3.1 take 10 hrs lol. I honestly dunno how it took you 70 hrs to do up to penacony + ampho 3.1 when i just saw a streamer who is at the tail end of ampho with half that time man.

@ByteStix Also, check the playlist for rubhen- just look for "full playthrough" videos, yeah, that's a lot of hours.

Form your own opinions about post 1.0 content, don’t listen to everyone that say the game went to a 1/10. Xianzhou Luofu was definitely rough second region (bad enough they had to redeem it with secondary story later on).

Only can say belobog 1.0 is the best in HSR. Other version just good luck if you still survive. 😅

good luck! Really liked 1.0, Cocolia bossfight and Wildfire theme were so good, overall Belobog was a rlly good arc and i was hyped for the future of the story and then... welp total disappointment so i ended up quitting after Penacony... at least they make nice char designs tho

Sadly Penacony killed my love for the game given how much of a mess that story was and not gonna even touch Amphoreus given how much of a yapfest I've heard that story was especially with the current state of endgame 😅

Dude I remember when I played the conclusion for Belobog, I just couldn't get over the fact that I was playing a FREE game that is better than most paid games I played in the past several years! People can say what they want about Hoyo, but when they cook, THEY COOOOOOOK

And it only goes downhill from there. But giving credit where credit is due, story boss fights are very well done. Watching the Sunday fight made me try the game out.

After that, it turns into absolute, unendurable trash—not to mention that sitting through some of the yapping beforehand is a bit of a chore.

Yep. Even tho right now its the game i despise the most because it was my main game for 2 years and i feel like i wasted my time with what came after, i still hold the opinion that Belobog is hands down the best 1.0 quest ever.
