You could try for a +5 boost to your smithing with spicy stews if you have a fully grown cat! Or you could do gianta foundry to get 1 more smithing level and then buy Kovac's grog for a guaranteed +4!

If you have a lot of excess logs (maple and up) and were planning on doing fletching at some point, the Vale Totems activity in Varlamore actually gives a bit of Anima bark as well, it's also VERY good fletching XP, unfortunately not super AFK though. Happy chopping!

The loop of unlock a thing to unlock a thing (repeat for 10000 hours) is kinda how it goes Fun game imo!

Btw Bri, you may have seen it on the wiki but in case you didn’t there are foraging specific worlds for people to hop to where the events are more common due to more people. It’s still slow but not nearly as bad. Also now you can do the OTHER minigame, Giant’s Forge to smith :D
