So I'm adding learning books for math, science, and languages using the same concept. It's still early, but my kids loved the stories! For some reason, they don't like doing homework on paper. Hopefully, creating a world around it and making it interactive and rewarding will work better. I'm... show more

I showed to my kids and we thought about Harry Potter

haha yeah, experimenting a whole lot with themes.

I like where this is going

same with my nephew. he only engages if there is a visible reward loop. are you building the progression system in-house or using something like gamification engine?

i guess it's the same with us. that's why we love games.

how do you plan to integrate quizzes and rewards for the new subjects?

it's per question and at the end. also, you get hints and explanations if they don't understand.

turning homework into a little world sounds way more fun than another worksheet

Very cool, love it

my kids loved the stories" is the only validation that matters here

You are onto something. This looks like something you can double down and focus on!

ah, if only my audience is into this as much. we'll see where this leads!

Absolutely love this!

Haha you beat me to this one. I saw your stories and I’m like this will be good for teaching maths. Excellent work

one of the hard battles for parents.

Better not let our kids see this or they'll force us to buy it

to be fair, a couple of math books at the library cost as much without the interactions

Interactive learning! Brilliant!

Q It's magnificent what you do but before adding other courses I recommend that you optimize the site improve it, but otherwise the principle is incredible well done

do you mean the book site or the designcode site?

I mean the StoryComet site. I visited it on mobile and loved the concept and illustrations. I know it may be designed mainly for desktop, but I felt some parts could be smoother on phones. Not a criticism just friendly feedback. It’s a beautiful project!

Either way, I think what you’re building is incredible. The concept is unique, beautifully executed, and has so much potential. Keep going you’re doing amazing work!

while interactive learning is great, some kids still need that paper practice

how are you planning to incorporate quizzes and rewards for the new subjects?

amazing work!

Will this work on an ipad Meng? i just realized that my 6yo is not a computer / mouse trained yet (mayube my oversight)

Another example

I think you're building a wonderful brand. Good job!

ngl the theme is the sugar - the kid still has to chew the actual math underneath it 💀
