so Instagram caught an X account reuploading my original content... on X 🤷‍♂️

It’s absurd and, at the same time, baffling! The guy on X has a tenth of your followers and posts content that isn't even his,so why does the algorithm push his video instead of yours?

exactly! If this was a one-off, I wouldn’t care. The problem is it’s constant. It happens to me every single day. I do fine. Good numbers. I make a living from this. But there are people who try just as hard and still can’t, because of this kind of thing. And X is not putting a stop to it. That’s the part that sucks. Long term, creators are going to post somewhere else. Not here.

Tiktok also has it, X is the only major platform that doesn't and I believe they do it by design because 90% of content on X would get copyrighted strikes outside of user content alone

Since they changed the rules 1,5-2 years ago my application was gone because of the new rules and since that time I stopped with focussing Numbers. Don’t want to make it an obsession to get monetized, because it will never happen anyway haha. But the people who are in the creators revenue program are or kicked out or lowered in renvenue. It’s kinda weird so that why I Think you and smaller account deserve more. I am paying to post here, kinda crazy too 😅

The real Q is: Why hasn’t this been implemented already? After all, X needs people who actually find the platform engaging. That only happens when original creators with real ideas (and you’re one of the best at that) get protected and amplified - not when copies of their work get pushed instead.

Bro same things happen to me.. I gave up on X at this point. I put a video up for 20k views, 2 days someone posts it and gets 6 million on my same video. I didn’t get the views, I’m still not monetized it’s impossible to beat the reposts

Crazy stuff. And it would be great if we got the credit for those stolen views but I know that never happens since my account is small and when others have stolen my content and gotten massive views I never see a jump in mine.

Reminds me when people on X used tiktok vidéos re moving creators names and making millions of you. Everytime i see your content or another creator's one on another account i report them. I personnaly had to file a lawsuit against people on X who copied my leeloo. Glad IG caught them.

Brother i know it sucks to see this. :( I’d suggest adding a movable watermark with around 50% opacity, so it can be repositioned and make it harder for people to simply crop or overlap it.
