Yesterday I pulled seven dogs out of breeding facilities and drove straight through the night to Florida. Two beagles are already on their way home. Shelby, the German Shepherd we pulled from San Antonio, is beginning the second leg of her journey to her adoptive family in South Florida. I wish I could’ve taken her all the way myself, but I have to head North to Buffalo, New York and deliver three more rescues. The goal is always the same… get them safe, get them home. Still doesn’t make the goodbye any easier. If you’ve ever had to let one go so they could have something better, you understand.
