Insisting Jesus must only be called “Yeshua” confuses phonetics with reference. The NT itself uses Iēsous. Names refer to persons, not sounds. By your logic if I even mispronounce your name or abbreviate it I am no longer referring to you.

He and his family spoke Aramaic so to be precise in his earthly language it was Yesua. We say Jesus in English. Jesus does not concern himself with matters like this, I promise.
