Fun fact you can actually check in the inn room with the cutscene rewatch book, it lets you toggle off quest progression specific additions so you can see both versions of the cutscene

Some of them are skipped or unmentioned if you didn't do the sidequest associated with it which is way funnier that they do a random shot of the HW mounts in V formation where Red is supposed to be and you'd never know if you didn't do Void Ark

The payoff of having played this game for years had never felt better than this. Just feels great seeing everyone

You might’ve missed a couple too since it is affected by a lot of side quests theres Heavensward and Stormblood Alliance Raids, Eureka and Bozja and ShadowBringers Trials if you’ve done any of all of these

Yes, basically this is a rare cutscene that is impacted by multiple optional storylines depending on how much of the side content of each expansion you've completed up to that point. Mind you most of it is cameos and references to said plotlines.

I can’t wait for in 10 years till get something similar for Dawntrail and then next expansions

I love it when the game acknowledge my feats and stuff that I did, me doing the MSQ on an alt and getting a comment from Yugiri about being trained into the ninja arts is great

The folks who love skipping cutscenes end up missing out on practically half of what XIV has to offer. And it annoys me when they come back later saying they didn't understand something or that something didn't make sense.

Yeah. This is your ultimate reward for how much of the side content you covered. Some lines are even different based on if you did something different. At the end of Eureka is one such example based on what you do at the end.

I would be lying if I said I didnt tear up a bit seeing this. It was a major payoff for everything we've done and everyone we met.
