The GI Bill is considered by many historians to have built the modern American middle class. My STILL living, World War II vet, great-grandfather was among the millions of Black Americans (#Freedmen) who were denied this benefit as opposed to the 15 million white Americans WW II vets who received them. I am not mad that America helped white Americans. I am mad as hell that they terrorized Black Americans (#Freedmen) for CENTURIES, and we have yet to receive #reparations. There can be no peace without justice.
