so ppl say that stolas’ snarky attitude towards striker made striker less threatening”, but that’s not the case. stolas quips striker at first bc he doesn’t want striker to receive any satisfaction, but you can see as time progresses, he stops 🧵on stolas and striker’s dynamic

remember that, at the beginning of the episode, stolas doesn’t know striker or what he’s capable of. he’s been in situations like this before. we see in loo loo land that he has a target on his back which is why he hires blitz as his bodyguard as an excuse to spend more

time with him, though he’s still able to use his powers to defend himself. striker, however, uses blessed ropes, and stolas doesn’t register the true danger he’s in until he’s in the caves. he quips striker at first because that is what pisses striker off. striker loves

being in control of the situation and gets visibly angry when the person he’s trying to intimidate doesn’t let him. however, you can see that stolas starts to cry when striker turns his back. he knows he’s in danger at this point. also take into consideration that he

was holding onto hope that blitz would come to save him, but he never did. by the end of the torture, stoles completely stops being snarky. he has no energy left, and striker takes advantage of it, and starts taunting HIM in return, using deep and personal digs

to get a reaction instead of snarky little comments. it’s a pretty interesting and fun dynamic and i wish people tried to understand it from the characters’ pov instead of basing every scene strikers in in such shallow ways.

I think stolas only stopped being snarky when striker mentioned his daughter, and that set something in him that I think will be part of his arc next season. There’s only Octavia and his newfound family he cares about.

I know peoples hatred/dislike of the Helluverse blind them, but it was super obvious that Stolas was just messing with Striker during his torture! He even drops the act and sheds a tear once Striker walks away!!! Plus the whole “They nerfed Striker!” claim for this episode-

Is there a ghost rider in every universe 😭
