For those saying the guy did nothing wrong: He was passing multiple cars at once You could see oncoming traffic ahead Don’t know if he was speeding but most likely The car saw the cop and backed off. He knew he was wrong Cop had more than one reason to stop

The black car was speeding to pass the entire line of vehicles in the right lane before being forced back into it by oncoming traffic. When the driver saw the cop in the right lane, the throttled back enough to move into the lane earlier than he planned, but it was too late.

No way the cop has that on radar. So this will be a warning, at best.

It was a passing zone, maybe they were all doing the speed limit and the guy trying to pass was above it? That’s the only thing I can see the cop possibility pulling him over for.

Best part? What did he think he was gaining? He was going to take chances with his life (and that of others) and gain what? Get to the next stop light first? All the cars he passed will pull up behind and around him. I like to try and pick the other lane when this happens just so I can beat him off that light. Just for own personal amusement

You have to have space to get in front without making the other driver slow down and cannot be exceeding the speed limit. Little know rules when overtaking. Cop was "Legally" covered. Buddy was being an ass passing like that many cars & the cop wasn't having it. Fair in IMHO.
