The In Laws and family should be bringing food to them for a few weeks till they get their bearings. I thought this was common practice? Are we not on the same page in different countries?

Red flags 🚩 1. Notice how, when she said, "You make the roast," he completely dodged it and then tried to act incompetent by saying, "I don't know how to do it; you do it better than me." 2. At the end, when she said, "So you get to hold the baby while I cook over a hot stove," and he twisted it and said, "So it's easy holding the baby, right? Then you should be able to cook," basically downplaying taking care of a child so she can feel guilty and go cook. 3. Him expecting her to do anything after giving birth, downplaying it, and making her feel bad for getting rest. 4. Yes, he was gaslighting her.
