There were plenty of people who told me to put Rocky out of his misery. To let him go. It was cruel on him to keep him suffering. I even doubted my own decision to fight for his life at times. He just seemed so bad. The blood results and his general eyesight and functions were in such poor shape I worried I might be keeping him alive more out of false hope and for my own dreams. Luckily Rocky had other ideas too. He very much wanted to live and I could see the from day 1. His eyesight if partially back and improving by the day. His bloods are getting better. He is packing on the pounds. Most of all Rocky feels loved and safe and he has lots of dog and human friends now. He belongs. When I woke up this morning, Mister didn’t want to get out of bed. I figured he was just exhausted from our fun and exciting day yesterday. But when he still didn’t get up and come do his usual morning routine by the time I’d made coffee, I started getting a little concerned. VERY unusual for him. He’s usually so energetic and excited to go do our morning gardening together, etc. So I got him out of bed and brought him to the livingroom and sat him on the couch with me. He was acting really strange and super lethargic, just curled up in a ball, and his little body kept spasming and twitching. When I tried to stand him up, his little lags just wouldn’t seem to work. So I knew something just wasn’t right with him. 😢 I called the vet and rushed him to Thompson Falls. As the vet was asking me all the questions, before she took him back to examine him, she said, “I have to ask you a hard question; CPR, or do not resuscitate?” Holy cow, that’s when I lost it and just started crying. I said, “Yes, of course resuscitate!” 😭 So then with so much fear and anxiety, thinking the absolute worst, I waited, while they did some blood tests and x-rays, etc. It was at that point that I asked y’all for prayers. I was so freaking scared and sick to my stomach. Mister had to get an IV and some medicines, as it appears he was having some gastrointestinal issues, which was making him not drink any water. So basically he’s a little blocked up and gassy. (Which is what was causing the spasming) And I feel just awful, because it’s most likely from me giving him basically whatever he wants to eat. 😢 (as well as from him eating small parts of his toys.) 🫤 So we have some medicines for him to take for 4 days, and hopefully he will be back to his sweet, mischievous self in no time. 🤞🏼 So after an unexpected $500 veterinary visit 😣, he is still very tired and lethargic, but the spasming is gone, and he seems to be on the mend. 🙏🏼 We basically just need him to have a good💩now. And after spending the whole day at the doggy doctor, we’re gonna take it real easy for the rest of the evening and just cuddle together and watch some puppy shows on the animal channel. 🥹 Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers for my sweet little guy. 🙏🏼 I’d be absolutely devastated without him. 🥲♥️

A player at a casino was accused of being too good and kept winning, they forced him to return all of his chips and cashed him out and told him to leave, there were whispers that they thought he was card counting. I never been to any place where they forced you to do a return and sent you on your way. But I have heard of retail places doing that. When the customer tries to argue at the register they are like you know what, here take your money back and leave. Back when the PS5 came out I was desperate to get one for my kid too, I was searching online for those obscure local stores that had them. I found one in Rochester, NY. I placed the order and got a confirmation and a notification from my bank saying an amount was taken out by them. So I figured they had it and it was fine. A week later after I didn’t get it, I called and he said yes he still had it but he’s been busy and will ship it out asap. I was like ok cool, so another week went by and I called him again and asked what the hold up was. This time around the guy was quite nasty and told me I needed to be patient because he was dealing with some stuff. He then said “you are acting like you don’t want it!” Which was weird because if I didn’t want it I wouldn’t be checking on why I didn’t get it yet. Next day I wake up to a notification from my bank saying the amount taken was credited back to my account and it showed the retailers name. He cancelled my order and refunded my money. So I called again and he said I was harassing him and he rather not sell to people like me. At that point I was furious but what could I do. I was thinking maybe he didn’t have it all along, maybe he only listed it as a means of bringing attention to his store in hopes people browse and buy other items too. Either way the idea of a place of business saying they don’t want my business and giving me my money back and refusing service is ridiculous to me.
