So Simulation Playground is about the coolest app that I’ve seen on Vision Pro so far. The best apps on visionOS are the ones that truly take advantage of what it’s uniquely capable of. The physics simulation created a feeling of mixed reality presence unlike any other!

Just like in this version of reality, on this layer of reality, when a simulation goes in a boring direction, we stop spending effort on it. We terminate the boring simulation. I have a theory here. Spatial videos on Apple Vision Pro are certainly cool, but I’m already taking 3D immersive videos using my iPhone and viewing them in mixed reality on Meta Quest 3 This is one of the most WOW moments I’ve experienced with technology. Recorded memories are in pretty good quality, real size and 6DoF, meaning you can walk around it, get closer. And it’s clear that this is still far from being perfect, but I can feel the presence. It’s truly magical. The app is called “Wist” Private beta waitlist
