The ‘Survive’ EP is out today and along with it the last song ‘The Day That I Die’. This is a tune I wrote about the lowest I’ve felt in my life and truth be told it feels a bit weird putting it out there for people to hear but I’m honestly the proudest I’ve ever been about a song with this one. It’s been an absolute pleasure being back releasing music and playing shows the last six months and I’m honestly so pleased to say I feel so far removed from the place I was when I wrote this song. 🐹 I left all my music production equipment at the dorm. I have to finish another track within this week, and I was working on it, but it’s just not happening. Things aren’t really working out, so I got bored and went live. I came on here to whine. Making songs is so hard. 🐹 Even if you tell me, “Just do enough and get some rest,” this isn’t really something you can do just enough of. 👤 I’m looking forward to a good song. 🐹 I’ll work hard on it. I’ll really do my best! 🐹 Today’s live theme? Whining because the song isn’t coming out. Let me whine for a bit. The song just isn’t coming out. I finished the chorus. The chorus is done, but I still can’t come up with the verse and pre-hook. For the hook, I can just copy and paste it anyway. For the pre-hook too, I can just tweak the lyrics to match the verse, or if it flows well enough, just copy and paste it. But the verses just aren’t coming out properly.
