a point i’ll never get tired of mentioning is how healthy chan’s masculinity is. he is strong but he never uses his strength to hurt but only to protect. there’s so much warmth and security that he carries into everything he does and it’s truly felt by everyone around him. the only time he gets genuinely aggressive is when he’s protecting or standing up for someone he loves and it only makes him so much more strong and mature. even in boxing, a sport that’s by it’s definition so aggressive, stereotypically masculine and rough, he manages to show his gentler and more grounded and protective side. even for a competitive person that chan is, someone who loves sports and loves winning, his priority still is making sure his loved one isn’t hurt. oh i always think that i couldn’t love this man more and then i do.

The worry is that players can add to the anger at the refs by their reactions to the foul calls. Robinson clearly is upset at the refs for this call, there was even groans from the crowd during the replay. But watch the replay: this is as textbook a foul as you can get. He crashes into Embiid and dislodges him. But now we've got fans who are outraged for no reason 🤷‍♂️

"We do adoption events every month. Yesterday was our biggest one. Forty-two dogs found homes. It was a wonderful day. Winston did not find a home. He is eleven years old. He is large. He is silver-gray and his whole muzzle is white and his eyes are the color of a winter morning and he is the gentlest dog I have ever put on a leash. He sat in the same spot for six hours. He did not pace. He did not bark. He watched every dog around him get chosen and he wagged his tail for every family that walked past him without stopping. Every single one. For six hours. At 5pm when the last family had left and the last car had pulled out of the parking lot I turned around and Winston was sitting at the edge of the empty lot wagging his tail at the space where the people had been. I sat down on the asphalt beside him. I put my hand on his silver back. He leaned into me. I don't have a word for what I felt. I have worked in rescue for nine years. I have never sat on a parking lot asphalt at the end of a failed adoption event and felt so completely undone and so completely certain simultaneously. Undone because he deserves everything. Certain because he is going to be okay. Both at the same time. Both because of him. He wagged at the empty parking lot. That is who Winston is. That is who he has been every day of his eleven years. #Pirates Enmanuel Valdez injured his shoulder sliding into third base on this triple He’s safe. He then is clearly calling for time (while in obvious pain) and gets called out in the process?! I don’t think he could use the other arm to call time. That was the shoulder that was injured. Reviewed and upheld.

I give you an example video here, this is not Tamilnadu, look at the fan how she behaving and look at the guy behind with coolers who i try to calm down.. AK sir love his fans unconditionally, but he never wanted to be treated like a show piece or like an entertainment property, he is working there so he want no disturbance during that time, he clearly gives time for fans, never run away!! Fans make the mistake and try to put him in a bad light when he react, and he never come out with bouncers who toss people around like parotta.. He never sugar coat anything!

And, the way you always keep the most important person for last, the fact that the apogee of his acceptance speech was about Connor.. he had me sobbing, cause of how completely unguarded and raw Hudson is here. The way the emotion is slowly building up, as he is going down that list, his voice cracking a bit, his hands shaking. And he can feel it slowly, tears forming in his eyes, tears he is holding in the best he can. As he is holding that award, so firmly, that last name on his list, the one that felt like an awakening. He is the one he'd want to hold right there (or rather be held 🥺). The one who is more than a scene partner, more than a best friend, his "emotional support person in life", his "soulmate", his anchor even. Cracking a joke or two to try to release a bit of pressure, but when comes the point of saying his name "to the honorary Canadian Connor Storrie, I share this award with you." and not find his face, his eyes, his smile in front of him, the absence is screaming in his chest and the tears are closer than ever. So after hearing Knicks fans say KAT gets called for the clamp foul on drives "twice per game" and "all the time." In reality, after watching 50 offensive fouls, I saw 4 of these that were drives with attempt at a clamp. The biggest issue KAT has is that he's clumsy, lacks tact, and every movement borders on out of control. Not surprising that he'd get caught when he does. Clip #1 is ridiculously overt, Clip #2 he actually puts his arm around the back of the defender and pulls him along, lolz, and Clip #3 is awkward flailing culminating in some Jackie Chan maneuver.

Went to my second ever broadway show the other week and it was a one-man performance by Daniel Radcliffe aka Harry Potter. He spends the 20 minutes before every show handing out props and recruiting people to interact with him during the show. Never seen someone so dialled in. Was an amazing performance, 1.5 hours straight, no intermission. He does this night after night. Did some math with Claude and he probably makes $50K per week which is great $$ but still considerably less than what he would make for a movie role. His parents also helped him invest his Harry Potter earnings well and he makes $660K/month just off investments (UK companies are required to make full financial disclosures, very different from the US but very useful for this kind of pocket watching). Which means he never has to work again he just continues to do this for the love of the game. These kinds of in-person experiences and acts of passion are one of the few things that can’t be replaced by AI Oh also he does not like it when you call him Harry or bring up his old movies. Ask me how I know.
