Wow, there are 3 camps here. 1) Chrysler/Stellantis sucks 2) Europeans ruined Chrysler and so American Chrysler stuff good while Euro Chrysler/Stellantis bad 3) Meh, I like Chrysler/Stellantis.

Double gasket the oil filter and run the engine out of oil and your engine will not be happy. Brand doesn't matter.

LOL, all you haters may want to look up GM 6.2 issues, not to mention 5.3 AFM disasters.

Pinched gasket on the oil filter - oil change tech screwed up. A friend was a tech for many years at a Toyota dealer. He said - we have about 20 oil techs - only 2 will advance.

Early units are catching flak over cooling and random sensor glitches, but mostly people are just mad they replaced the Hemi.

These small turbo charged engines in a heavy SUV or truck are a recipe for disaster as it's forced to be driven hard. The same engine in a much lighter vehicle might be perfectly reliable.

I've owned dozens of vehicles. The only engine I've ever had fail, was a 3.6 Pentastar-- also Stellantis.

That must be a lemon or first gen batch problems. Perhaps the newer production variants are improved upon, also could be the supplier material causing issues.

The water thin oil they use isn't helping either

Glittery oil is never a good thing, especially on a relatively new car.

My understanding is there have been minor issues but overall they seem pretty reliable so far. Most people are just annoyed about not a V8 a couple people at work have them for a little over a year with no issues.
