@Razorpay Folks isn't this misleading? You have done this for an individual PAN. For entities like LLP, Pvt Ltd, does this flow work? For example, we don't have UPI in our corporate bank account - so we can't scan a QR code. Probably need to mention that this flow varies by entity type.

The base flow is same (ckyc works for pvt ltd etc too) with minor variations as per regulatory requirements but fallbacks exist, like you can see the enter bank details manually option at the UPI step in this too. But the focus is to show ease for small individual sellers who don’t even have entities yet which is how most businesses start with us.

The 3-min onboarding number is the unlock. Most fintech drop-off happens in the identity/compliance steps — fixed complexity distributed poorly across multiple sessions. An AI agent that handles the back-and-forth in one pass doesn't just speed up onboarding, it removes the abandonment vector entirely.

India is actually the right market to run this experiment first. UPI + KYC infrastructure is already world-class. the hard part was never the payment rail -- it was the onboarding UX around it. 3-min agent onboarding on that foundation is the right unlock. compliance guardrails probably took longer to build than the happy path?
