So what have we been cooking? A tipping system that will enable users to tip content creators with $ICP and $ckBTC tokens.

Our new release is out and there's a lot of new features for the #icp gang to get excited about! We're going to break them down in this thread 🔥

the distrikt tipping is a two-tier system comprised of User-to-User tipping and Community Pool based tipping. Let's break them down starting with the very straightforward User-to-User tipping.

Community Pool tipping is meant to kickstart this emerging creator economy and incentivize its use! It will be available for the next 12 weeks and offer a total of 300 ICP, to eligible accounts in a weekly allocation of 1 ICP/week (to use for tipping other accounts)

DM tipping is also available: users can send $ICP and $ckBTC tokens directly via chat messages. T his feature is available for user-to-user tipping only, no part of your community allocation can be used to tip via DM.

Optimized notifications are finally here! While preparing for this release, we took the opportunity to optimize the notification system and make it easier for you to have an overview of your engagement. You can now sort notifications based on likes, followers, tips or replies.

And as a extra goodie we've now added support for the @pokedstudiouk #NFT collection!🤝 You can now use the distrikt dashboard to store your NFT and display it as a verified profile picture!
