So what your seeing is Dart running fully embedded into Minecraft. This allows you to write Minecraft Mods in Dart with hot reload. In addition to that, I created a s quick port of Nocterm (Flutter but running as a TUI) onto a big wall of blocks. Next ->...

This is running Dart as a shared library hosted by Java. Interface is fully FFI based. I already wrapped a good chunk of the Minecraft API surface!

I also want to explore if it could make sense to describe 3D structures using Flutter's widget tree. So much fun to be had here! Gonna open source this soon :)

Incredible! I wish I had this when my son and I were building Minecraft plugins and hacks.

I'd literally port my mods to Dart if I can distribute them for Fabric

I got Black Ops 2 running natively in Minecraft. Not through a browser, not on a screen inside the game. I ported Hijacked to Java and it runs directly on Minecraft’s own OpenGL context. The map, collision, bots, navmesh, weapons and rendering are all running inside Minecraft as a Fabric mod. This started with me putting my browser port on a PC screen inside Minecraft. That worked, but I wanted to see if I could go much further and actually port the game itself. So I had GPT Astra rebuild the whole thing in Java. Still a lot left to do, but this is now an actual game running inside Minecraft rather than Minecraft displaying one.

Spent the last months building LucidClip, a clipboard manager built with Flutter. Tech Stack: • Flutter desktop • Drift (SQLite) • Supabase (auth + sync infra) • Global hotkeys • Local-first architecture Now running on macOS and Windows. Flutter desktop is seriously underrated. Curious what others are building with it. Flutter #Dart #flutter

Flutter 💙 + Flame 🔥 = 3D?? What you see in the video is rendered by Flutter, no native packages just Flutter & Flame! How? Well thanks to Flutter GPU! A Dart layer around the Impeller rendering pipeline! This is all possible thanks to the awesome work from Brandon DeRosier 1/3

You may have seen this if you were at flutterCon last week, but this endless runner is a vanilla Flutter app. :) Dashsurfers (...name subject to change) is a little 3D game built with Flutter Scene, running in real time at 120 fps. The rendering, the particles, the UI, all Flutter.

Godot's Third Person Shooter demo, ported to Flutter Scene as a fun stress test. Running in Flutter 3.47 on Flutter GPU and Impeller, the built-in graphics stack. 617 MiB of cooked content. 1,795,763 unique vertices, 659,079 unique triangles, 320 collision meshes, 23 punctual lights. Converted to Scene's own scene description format for AOT baking. The lighting doesn't look as moody as the original and needs a bunch of adjusting. Way too much light spilling in from the environment map... But a pretty decent port so far!

Automating Flutter feature testing and App Store screenshots is easy! Developers can control running Flutter apps and capture real-time screenshots directly through the AGY browser. As long as you install the Dart MCP server and flutter_driver, you're ready to go.

I don't think anyone would like to code like this but you can build entire iOS ViewController with Liquid Glass in Dart directly, and just show it from Flutter. I managed to create Dart bindings to the most basic UiKit components and then just invoke them from Dart.

When you create a Flutter app for iOS, you’re actually embedding your compiled Dart code into a native iOS app. Leigha Reid breaks down how a Flutter app runs on iOS 👇

And with that, the 2024 season comes to an end. This year you- the Minecraft community- placed billions of blocks (over 300 billion in fact!), crafted millions of maces, created thousands of crafters and so much more! We can't wait for what 2025 will bring, thank you for playing Minecraft!

I got Black Ops 2 running inside Minecraft. This is my browser port of BO2, now playable through a PC inside Minecraft. You walk up to the computer, turn it on, and play Black Ops 2 from inside the game. But this is just a first step. Now I’m having GPT Astra work on actually porting Black Ops 2 to Java, the same way I reconstructed it for the browser. The goal is actual Black Ops 2 running natively inside Minecraft. This is getting ridiculous.

Gemini 4 Argon + Flutter is cracked. Google Antigravity built this car infotainment screen and driver cluster with Flutter Scene in a day. It's all one Flutter app. :) The map uses real OpenStreetMap buildings in downtown Boston and a live route from OSRM. The x-ray chassis uses a custom material, and the brake discs glow as the car brakes. The car is a glTF model with working doors, hood, hatch, headlights, and paint options. The parking screen is a mockup of a 360 surround camera view. No embedded engine, no native map SDK, no platform views, just vanilla Flutter with Impeller and built-in SDK features: Flutter GPU. 3D rendered by Flutter Scene, a complete 3D game engine for Flutter. The app is 14,000 lines of Dart, with a center screen, a driver cluster, and a panoramic view of both. No subscriptions, no paid seats, no royalties. Free and open source, forever. Flutter can just do it all.
