WHOO!! Got a very special surprise for everyone today in the Sega Dreamcast community! From the same dark wizard, jnmartin84, who brought you Doom64 fully bump mapped at 60FPS on the console, comes the first official release of Wipeout DC, clocking in at a paltry 61-256FPS! This footage is a series of direct HW captures from me playing it on my DC (which is why the player is always in 8th place, lol). As you can see, jnmartin's signature attention to every minute detail, from audio to graphics, and especially performance, is as present as ever. We DC devs have always laughed our asses off watching this man cook in our dev Discord server, as his combination of humility and swearing every time the FPS drops to 59 is not only absolutely hilarious, but is truly an inspiration to the rest of us to aspire to polish and fine-tune our work to only the highest quality for the Sega Dreamcast. Shalom Saints, Sometime this year, while touring the US, I felt a leading to jump into the studio with my team to record an unplugged version of the song JEHOVAH SHAMMAH (one of our oldies) The LORD inspired me to write two more verses - one on Jehovah Nissi and the other on Jehovah Jireh, in addition to the one on SHAMMAH. It’s a powerful song of prayer, worship and assurance, especially in these very uncertain times. This is one song you want to share with friends and family, teach your children, and loop over and over again as you pray, work and even play. So beloved, as the year draws to a close, I put this calm, solemn yet poignant declaration in your hand. it is one to declare everyday as 2025 lurks around the corner and even more so, as you go through it and onwards. It would inspire faith like never before, build a holy confidence and trust in God, unshakable in a shaking world that is trembling politically with wars and rumours of wars, unprecendented level of insecurity, unstable and failing economies, and even more so, a world in spiritual and moral decline never witnessed before. One the Bible aptly describes as GROSS DARKNESS. But for you and I, there has never been a better time to arise and shine as lights and as beacons of love and hope.
