So You Wanna Learn DaVinci Resolve #2: Transitions Showing off a simple, short clip, then breaking down each of the techniques used and going over them one by one. Today's topic is video/audio transitions! Btw, I expect the next few topics to be keyframes, SFX, and subtitles

#WATCH | PM Narendra Modi says, "...In 2047, when the country celebrates 100 years of independence, we would definitely be Viksit Bharat - this is the dream we are going forward with...I say this with confidence, this is just our third term. In line with the needs of the country, to make it a modern and capable India and to realise the resolve for Viksit Bharat, we are going to be working for several years to come."

Yup, it was another hack week project this week. Seeing what a paintable easel would be like in Rust. Headache to setup for the first time but I've learned a lot in the process.

My Hermes Masterclass is complete, but I recorded some of these early ones back in April (decades ago in AI-time), so I'm going to go back from time to time to update them. This first module on installation, setup, and basic commands needed the most updating (about 60% new), so it got priority. I'll leave the old video up for another week or so, but I'll be pulling it down after so if you have it linked anywhere update to this one! Thanks!

This video is disturbing so beware! The DOJ says it won’t release any more of the Epstein files and I can’t imagine how anyone would be okay with it especially after seeing a video like this! These men need to be locked up for life for what they have done! 🤬

#WATCH | Delhi: Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla shows a clip from space, says, "What you would see is the earth upside down and the green glow that you see is prevalent in the upper layers of atmosphere because of oxygen atoms, which are there, which get excited. On the bottom of the screen are the stars and the top portion would be the earth and we would be passing over India and so this is the general setting of the scene. The flashes that you see are the thunderstorms, the lightning that is happening... During this mission, for 18 days, I carried with me seven experiments which were prepared by the Indian researchers, and I never really thought, but it was really challenging to do this in space because everything changes, the space around you changes, your body changes..."

Fired up my Time Machine for first time in ages and did some retro coding on my LittleBigPlanet C64 project - added some UI and scoring for bubble collection multiplier, and got some basic sound effects working. Also had a go at making Sid Tune of a Gorrilaz tune to try and learn Goat Tracker, really hurts my head but made some progress after much pain! #c64 #littlebigplanet #Sackboy #8bit

My first time-lapse. Thanks to some instruction and tips from Astro Ayers, I caught my first aurora. After seeing the result, I told her this felt like fishing. Prepping the camera, the angle, the settings, the mount, then setting your timer and coming back to hope you got a catch. And after catching my first fish, I think I’m hooked. Thanks, Vapor! Beautiful auroras passing over southeastern Asia and Australia.
