Trying to convince socialists to act rationally is a dead end. Redistribution is not a goal but a means to buy electors to get and stay in the seat. Socialists are genetically plunderers. The goal is to live off the beast until it dies or the electorate tires of them.

You would think that, given the obsession of socialists with other people's wealth, they would have at least some interest in how that wealth came about. They don't. All they care about is how they can take it away.

The best distribution of wealth is sharing in the success of a company making products that sell, products that the market wants. Profit sharing and stock options are sharing the wealth. There is NO sharing of the wealth in socialism. The wealth falls into the hands of a small number of government workers who form an oligarchy.
