soderbergh could’ve easily pumped out another casino heist picture but instead he made a brilliant and beautiful epic, complete with one of the most romantic sequences ever put to film

I’ve come around so much on this movie. 11 was about Danny 12 was about Rusty 13 was about the team (via Reuben) 12 is silly and laid back because that’s what rusty is. The plan is a rusty kind of plan. Even the twist at the end is a rusty kind of twist. It’s his movie and better for it.
