I would love to see Sokka fight with a sword and boomerang at the same time as a diversionary tactic. Throw the boomerang to catch the opponent off guard and get a few quick attacks before the opponent notices the boomerang coming right back.

I love Sokka's reaction at seeing him temporally blinded BRIEFLY looking glad he has a chance but then immediately realizing "He can still beat me while blind, doesn't he?" Almost as if he remembered Toph and how being blind doesn't make her less dangerous
