Comparing raw TPS numbers here is misleading — ICP counts "canister messages," a much broader class of computational calls than Solana's simple transfers, and the project itself notes single ICP calls can execute far more instructions than a typical Ethereum or Solana transaction. Putting 1,710 next to 1,502 side by side implies they're measuring the same thing when they're not.
