Mendocino Engine. The Mendocino engine is an electric motor that can be powered by any type of light, be it sunlight, moonlight, or even artificial light. It features a magnetically levitated rotor, almost completely eliminating friction. Its primary application so far has been for technology demonstration purposes only; it is said to be incapable of generating power on a large scale and is kept in plain sight, hidden under the label of a toy. Movement generates energy, right? Free Energy.

The Butterfly Mendocino Motor by Semyon Nazarov is the simplest version of this kind of motor with only two photovoltaic cells mounted with care to ensure precision balance. This motor will spin quietly to high RPMs on any sunlit windowsill. [📹 physicsfun]

Mario Nawfal Meanwhile all solar panels here are damaged by hailstorm in China. It's one big problem with solar panels: they are easily damaged.

Here's what the Liberty Engine does on camera: 1. Manual start — spin the rotor 2. Neodymium magnets generate voltage in transformer coils 3. Voltage feeds back to the motor 4. Motor keeps rotor spinning 5. Excess power goes to output sockets 6. Powers a TV, grinder, hair dryer, heater — for 2+ hours straight They filmed a continuous 2-hour test. No external power. No hidden wires. The "impossible" ran for 120 minutes on YouTube for anyone to watch.
