@joerogan Thanks David! The vehicle needs to be extremely efficient (like Aptera) or it's not possible.

@joerogan Aptera will not pass Auto crash safety standards, and was not designed to- please do not invite comparisons to cars unless you are also more candid and thorough about the differences as well-

@joerogan Actually, we will Ryan. Aptera has been designed to meet and exceed many passenger car safety standards. It has airbags, generous crumple zones, and an F1-inspired safety cell made of CF-SMC. Real vehicles will be crashed and validated by a third party next year, stay tuned. 👍

@joerogan You have to actually produce a production vehicle first. Less talk and more production

@joerogan That's what drives us forward every day — we won't stop until Aptera is in production. Here's our latest update!

@joerogan That’s under ideal conditions though. Overwhelming majority of the time you can expect half that much generation, or less, in most areas. That said, pre-order is still in, and I’ve got shares.

@joerogan Very true. In sunny climates, people will get ~11,000 miles of free driving per year from the sun, averaging 30 per day across all seasons (~8,000 per year in cloudy climates). Thanks for the support, Charlie!
