People are so starved for meaning that a yogurt commercial from years ago is still put forward as one of the few available positive visions of the future.

I love that in Caucasians visions of the future there are just 15 different shades of brown people who miraculously have White people hair, values, clothing, lifestyle… Just no White folks Somehow the tarantula heads have become civilized… Robots did that lol

SolarPunk as a Utopian society concept is antithetical to its own title. "Punk" is rebellion, there must be something inherently wrong with the society at least sociopolitically to be a "Punk" subgenre. All complaints aside, I am a big fan of the aesthetic though.
