The #GTA 3 port to the Sega #Dreamcast has been progressing at an incredible pace. It's been amazing to see the whole DC community come together to tag-team this "impossible" project... Here it is running on a stock DC, no longer requiring the 32MB RAM hardware modification, only a few weeks into development. Since I finally got the time to sit down, build the codebase, and look into some of what I think is the critical path for performance, let's talk about some technical shit, and some of the future steps I think can be taken to further improve performance. First of all, I want everyone to take note that this is NOT a port of the PS2 version. This is a port of the PC version, which has extra content, increased draw distance, improved textures, and other things that have actually increased the challenge here... Whether the DC version will ultimately have these additions or not will remain to be seen, but we're running into plenty of shit that the PS2 didn't have to worry about (like these big-ass PC replay saves won't fit onto a Visual Memory Unit!) Secondly, lets talk about what is and isn't currently optimized, because it's absolutely vital that the DC's hardware is fully utilized here for the sake of performance and achieving a competitive polygon count. Unlike with modern devices, where the whole graphics pipeline is handled by the GPU, both the PS2 and Dreamcast were responsible for transforming and doing lighting calculations for each vertex BEFORE they got submitted to the GPU. The PS2 had a vector coprocessor to do this, while the Dreamcast had a few extremely important SIMD and fast math assembly instructions on its CPU to do these computations. Up until literally just a few hours ago (not shown in this footage), the Dreamcast's SH4 was doing 100% of these operations in slow-ass plain C and C++ code, which is absolutely sub-optimal and is immediately bogging down its CPU with just transforming vertices, bottlenecking the entire graphics pipeline on the fist T&L stage, and also leaving less CPU time for handling other gameplay logic... this is going to absolutely have to be addressed (and already has begun to be). Another issue that is crippling performance here is the fact that the models are all using individual triangles rather than triangle strips, which the Dreamcast's PVR GPU was designed to handle better... Converting these models to use strips rather than individual triangles will result in MANY different gainz for the DC, as you're going from 3N to N+2 vertices per triangle. Converting the models to triangle strips will 1) reduce load times, since model assets will be smaller 2) reduce the amount of video memory required to hold these vertices on the GPU 3) reduce the amount of shit that must be transferred from the CPU to the GPU and 4) give us back a bunch of CPU time, since the SH4 will be less bogged down transforming redundant vertices! TL;DR: This is still EXTREMELY suboptimal in terms of fully utilizing the graphical potential of the Dreamcast. There is going to be a LOT that can be done still to both improve performance and polygon counts, so stay tuned! FINALLY: Mad respect and love to Stefanos Kornilios Mitsis Poiitidis, for doing an amazing job leading this project, and to Frogbull , Esppiral, and everyone else who is helping us stick it to the PS2 by making this happen! #gamedev #retrogaming #cplusplus

[Heo Seongbeom Youtube] 260305 Jin - Moon 🌕🌏 (part1) 👨‍🏫It’s a solo song by Jin, and BTS are also preparing for a comeback in March. I’m really looking forward to it. I’m the moon, and you are the Earth. So it becomes a kind of love triangle. Earlier the sea loved the moon, but who does the moon love? The moon loves the Earth. That idea is reflected in this song, so let’s try interpreting it. Since when have the moon and the Earth been together like this? We’ve been together for so long, but when did it start? About 4.51 to 4.53 billion years ago. Scientists figured this out through radioactive isotope analysis, which showed that the Moon is about 4.51 to 4.53 billion years old. “Shining just by existing.” This line is directed at the Earth. But does the Earth actually shine just by existing? No. Because the Earth is a planet and does not produce its own light. If the Earth appears to shine, it’s probably because of artificial lights made by humans. “Can I stay by your side and protect you?” It sounds shy, but in reality the moon can’t help staying there, because it’s bound by gravity. And here we see the main line of the song. “You are my Earth, and to you I’m just a moon. Your small star that lights up your heart.” It’s poetic, but is the moon actually a star? No. Celestial bodies are generally divided into two categories. First, there are stars (stellar bodies). These produce their own light. Second, there are planets. Planets do not produce their own light. Instead, planets usually orbit around a star. The Earth is a planet. From our perspective, the star in our system is the Sun. So when you look at the night sky and see stars, those lights are actually other suns, each producing their own light. But sometimes when you see a particularly bright “star,” it may actually be a planet like Mercury, Venus, Mars, or Jupiter. Then you might ask: if planets don’t produce their own light, why do they shine? Because they reflect sunlight. The Moon also appears bright because it reflects the Sun’s light. #JIN #방탄소년단진 방탄소년단

🚨EXPOSED: 2008 Trump Just EXPOSED 2026 Trump — "Anyone INVADING The Middle East Under FALSE Pretenses Should Be ARRESTED"🤯👮‍♂️ Take a long, hard look at this footage. In 2008, Donald Trump didn't just criticize the Iraq War; he called for the impeachment and arrest of a sitting President for leading the country into the Middle East under false pretenses. He called it "lies." He called it "horrible." "He got us into the war with lies... it would have been a wonderful thing to impeach him." — Donald Trump, 2008. "He got us into the war with lies... it would have been a wonderful thing to impeach him." — Donald Trump, 2008. 🚩 The Bitter Reality of 2026 Fast forward to today. After voting for this man three times, I am standing here ashamed. Why? Because the very thing he once called "impeachable" is exactly what he is doing right now with Iran. We are watching an escalation into a conflict that has no end game, fueled by the same billionaire donor class he once pretended to despise. He built his movement on being the "Anti-War" candidate, the one who would stop the "forever wars." Instead, he has become the architect of the next one. So, where is that energy now? If 2008 Trump met 2026 Trump, he would be leading the charge for his removal. You cannot claim to be for the people while sending their sons and daughters into an Iranian quagmire based on the same recycled talking points from twenty years ago. I’m done making excuses. I’m done "trusting the plan." The plan was always a LIE. We were sold a version of a man who promised to "Drain the Swamp," but the swamp just got deeper, and now it’s filled with the drums of war. Watch the clip. Listen to his own words. Then look at the headlines today. The man in this video would be horrified by the man in the Oval Office.

Smoking Gun against US Attorney Josh Levy in #KarenRead The US Attorney hired private accident reconstructionists that do a lot of work with the Pentagon. Here is Dr. Wolf, who oozed arrogant resistance to even simple lines of questioning from Prosecutor Lally, clearly behaving like a defense witness, not some independent expert hired by the Feds to get to the truth. But this clip gives away the game. The CDR, or Crash Data Retrieval, is a snapshot taken within the vehicle data when a crash is detected. However, as Dr. Wolfe explains, such a report is not typically triggered in a pedestrian collision because of the size differential. However, Lexus Toyota additionally has a system on board called Tech Stream. This creates records of incidents beyond collisions, so it records "data relating to vehicle behavior from a larger number of collisions where traditional EDRs may not record an event." Did you notice the quotation marks? The text above was quoted directly from ARCCA. That's actually the company Dr. Wolfe works for, the "independent" experts the corrupt US Attorney hired. Here is an article from their website: So they're actually experts on Lexus/Toyota Tech Stream. It's a selling point they use to market themselves. If an accident involves a Lexus or Toyota, they're saying, hire us, because we're experts in Toyota Vehicle Control History. But you'll see at the end of this clip that they were not given this Tech Stream data by the US Attorney. Nor did they ask for it. They WERE given the EDR...Event Data Recorder...evidence, but as is typical in a pedestrian collision, there was no CDR recorded, so nothing helpful. However, for some reason they were not given the Tech Stream VCH data. Huh. And these experts, who knew the vehicle was a Lexus, did not ask for that data. Huh. Nor did they ask for the state's accident reconstruction report, which included that data. Hmmm. Look, if you woke up from a 3-year coma, and looked at this case knowing nothing else, you'd understand something shady went on here. Is going on. That's not conspiracy theory. That's actual conspiracy. Imagine if the US Attorney hired an independent pathologist to look into a murder victim, and gave them a bunch of evidence, but did not give them the autopsy report. You'd know for sure something stunk. Well, this is the same thing. It's so obvious a zombie can understand it. Well... But finding direct evidence of the corrupt instructions to the ARCCA guys might be impossible. There's not going to be a letter from Josh Levy telling them to prove that John was not struck by a vehicle. No one who graduated law school is that stupid(well, maybe Mark B. is). The communication from Levy would be subtle. And it wouldn't be hard for these guys, whose company makes a ton of cash from the Feds, to understand what the US Attorney wanted. But there is still vital information that can be learned. For example, when did the Feds contract with ARCCA? Their report didn't come out til this past February. Yet by last summer the US Attorney CERTAINLY understood the conspiracy theory was bunk. They'd not only grilled witnesses on the stand, but more importantly, they'd obtained all the communications from anyone the defense team accused of being part of the coverup. They very likely had things like geofence too, which showed John never went inside the house(if it showed he had, the Feds would have used it). So by the end of last summer, the US Attorney knew there was no coverup or conspiracy involving John O'Keefe. Yet they hired ARCCA. And didn't give them the Tech Stream data, which by itself was a signal to the engineers about that they were expected to find. The FBI knows they can delay scrutiny for years by saying they can't comment on an ongoing investigation, so they keep it officially going, though it's doing no further investigating. It's an old but effective trick. We saw a lot of this in the investigation into claims of interference by the Russians in the 2016 election. So by the time the Feds officially end the investigation in Canton, Levy will likely have skulked back to his prestigious partnership at Ropes and Gray, having realized higher political ambition will never be achieved now. However, that ambition(or perhaps something more sordid) led him to interfere in a murder case, jeopardizing justice and causing the persecution of many innocent people. That threat to justice has to be exposed. There's little more dangerous to our liberties than a federal justice department that operates outside of the law. The fight for justice for John O'Keefe has become a fight for our justice system itself.

There's a train. 🐰There's a train. 🐻Wait, wait. 🐹Look.~~On the left... Play the song again. 🐥If you ask Gok~~ he'll answer. You know, those... 🐰Balance game quizzes?? 🐹No, look. There's a train. Jimin is tied up on the left. If you turn the train to the left, Jimin dies. But there are five strangers on the right. The train is heading toward them. Which side would you choose? You're the train conductor. 🐨I'd let it pass by. The right side. 🐹So you'd save Jimin. What if there were a hundred strangers? 🐰See? This is exactly why balance games are a problem. 🐥But in my opinion... 🐰But the problem is that people keep saying, 'Try it, try it,' and end up creating these ridiculous (trash) scenarios. 🐹No, if there were a hundred people, I'd tell them to come over to my side. 🐨"First of all, they decide who's going to be the 'trash' (the one to sacrifice), and then build the scenario around that." 🐥Yeah, if it were a hundred people, I'd tell them to come to my side too. 🐰Still... they're family. 🐹Then the number becomes ten thousand, then a million. Eventually it's, "Everyone on Earth except our members and family is over there." 🐰This is why balance games are the problem. No, seriously... 🐻Exactly~~Right. 🐰"They're like, 'What about this?' It just gets so ridiculous." 🐰Hey~~Jungkook's crooked. 🐻Hey, look over there. Jungkook, bring that macaron over here. 🐰The macaron?Where? 🐻Over there.🐰Where? 🐻That one that looks like a squirrel trapped in a garden. 🐰Ah, this one? 🐨Wow, "a squirrel trapped in a garden." 🐰Choco, choco 🐥Wow, "a squirrel trapped in a garden..." 🐹Isn't that the one from when we filmed Run BTS? 🐥That's you. 🐹Back when we filmed Run BTS. 🐥He's the one who did it. 🐻That one doesn't really look alike, though. 🐰Just by looking at it...Oh. 🐥You're right~It looked like that. 🐰Just by looking at it, this one looks the most delicious. 🐻Lately I've been craving desserts. 🐥I seriously felt like throwing up because of that. 🐻Just take that one out. 🐰It looks the tastiest. 🐥Wait, you can eat this? 🐰"A squirrel trapped in a garden." The hotel prepared these. They even have the Arirang logo on them. 🐻What's that?( Showing something to RM) 🐥Can I just look at it? What's this? 🐰A chocolate macaron. 🐻A stamp. 🐹I don't really like desserts. Should we play rock-paper-scissors? ( Jungkook adjustimg camera while members talking ) 🐰The angle is... 🐹You should explain that first. 🐰Like this... 🐹I need to shower too. 🐰Like this. 🐹Yeah. It's already twelve o'clock. 🐰Like this~Like thi~~That's right. Like this, This, this, this... Right, right, right. 🐹Hey, Namjoon-ah. I have something to tell you. 🐨Okay. 🐹Come out for a second. 🐨Okay Okay. 🐰We're going to end it? You're trying to end it, aren't you? 🐹No, no, no, no, no, that's not it. 🐨Let's all turn on our phones. Let's all use your phone. No. 🐨I was going to do that after this ended. 🐹Namjoon, come here. 🐨I just really want to shower. 🐥This is seriously a crossroads. 🐰I've..Been through something before. It's already twelve. 🐻Sit down, sit down. 🐰Go take a shower. 🐨My battery's dead. 🐻Sit down~~Let's talk a bit. 🐥It's Hyung's phone. 🐰Oh, it's Hyung's phone. 🐻But first~~ 🐰Then we should go. 🐹No, I have no intention of ending it. 🐨Turn them all on. Warren Buffett on why buying Berkshire Hathaway was the dumbest decision of his career: Buffett is asked about the worst trade he ever made. His answer surprises everyone. "The dumbest stock I ever bought was, drum roll here, Berkshire Hathaway. And that may require a bit of explanation." He takes us back to the beginning: "It was early in 1962 and I was running a small partnership about 7 million. They call it a hedge fund now. And here was this cheap stock, cheap by working capital standards or so, but it was a stock in a textile company that had been going downhill for years." Buffett spotted what looked like an easy pattern to profit from: "They kept closing one mill after another and every time they would close a mill, they would take the proceeds and they would buy in their stock. I'd buy the stock tender to them and make a small profit." By 1964, Warren Buffett had built up a sizable position and went to meet management. That's when the pivotal moment happened: "I went back and visited the management, Mr. Stanton. And he looked at me and he said, 'Mr. Buffett, we've just sold some mills. We're going to have a tender offer, and at what price will you tender your stock?' And I said, '$11.50.' And he said, 'Do you promise me that you'll tender at 11.50?' And I said, 'Mr. Stanton, you have my word that if you do it here in the near future that I will sell my stock at 11.50.'" Then came the moment that changed everything: "I went back to Omaha and a few weeks later, I opened the mail… And here it is. A tender offer from Berkshire Hathaway. That's from 1964. And if you look carefully, you'll see the price is 11 and 3/8. He chiseled me for an eighth." That tiny shortchange triggered a decision that would define his entire career: "If that letter had come through with 11 and a half, I would have tendered my stock. But this made me mad. So I went out and started buying the stock and I bought control of the company and fired Mr. Stanton and we went on from there." A move driven by emotion, not strategy. Buffett took control of a dying textile business simply because he'd been chiseled for an eighth of a dollar. "Now that sounds like a great little morality tale at this point…" The lesson? Even the world's greatest investor has made decisions based on emotion rather than logic. Sometimes the trades that feel most justified in the moment, the ones where you're "teaching someone a lesson", are the ones that cost you the most.
