He said West Vancouver must plan thoughtfully for changing housing needs, including gentle densification that respects neighbourhood character and protects livability. He said the community must be more welcoming to seniors, families, workers, and younger generations who want to build their lives here. LaPointe said recent controversies, including the paid parking debate, have reinforced a growing public concern that consultation too often comes late in the process, after key decisions have effectively been shaped. He said decisions affecting daily life, neighbourhood character, and local business must be grounded in meaningful public engagement and clear public justification. He also said West Vancouver needs stronger accountability at Metro Vancouver, where major decisions on spending, infrastructure, and regional priorities have significant local consequences. Kamlager-Dove: Well, I do think that Speaker—or “Squeaker”—Johnson caved and did what Democrats have been telling him to do for months now, because the American people are sick of waiting in long, long lines at the airport. They are sick of having to apologize to federal workers who are working without a paycheck. And they are sick of Republicans clogging up the government and stopping it from working.

Those who returned to their property by boat, as all roads have been blocked, and manned now by local police or officers imported from Vancouver. RCMP and Conservation Officers are parked on drive ways and at gates preventing residents from leaving their properties – Unable now to help each other and have virtually no access to food, water or fuel.

I had a ball on a recent hike with kids from Compton, Inglewood, and South Central Los Angeles, many of whom had never been in the Santa Monica wilderness before, even though it’s not far from their neighborhoods. It’s important for our youth to experience nature and to feel the sense of accomplishment that one gets from overcoming challenges like climbing a mountain. #Kennedy24

Premier David Eby and the VPD spent huge resources clearing the homeless drug addicts from the streets and stopping open air drug use. This is the same government that swore we needed open air drug use, human feces on the sidewalk, injection sites and needed to fight stigma around homelessness, to save lives. But I guess those "life saving measures" are not needed during FIFA. The BC NDP are so embarrassed about the conditions they forced on Vancouverites, that they had to cover it all up, when the world comes to major events. If history is any guide, things in Vancouver will return to the wretched old normal in a few weeks & slide even further into dystopia, heading into winter. If there ever was proof the BC NDP are a failed government, it's the need to radically change how Vancouver operates, simply because the world is temporarily watching. Let us all push for a Fall election in British Columbia. To take back our Province from the pro cartel BC NDP that trashed paradise.

The Vancouver Games were heavily covered by the press, both friendly and hostile, to the Sussexes, so if this had actually happened, it would have been reported already, so it's a bit convenient for him to say this. But he does have a history of making things like saying Meghan's mother Doria went to jail.

I’m at BC Ferries Tsawwassen Terminal. Both Jordan Armstrong and @jungangela have been here and I wanted to see what’s going on first hand. It’s absolute mayhem. It’s easy for CEO Jimenez to say he understands the concerns raised by British Columbians about BC Ferries in an article. He and the BC Ferry Board should be down here with the PEOPLE who are SUFFERING FROM HIS INCOMPETENCE.
