Solo dev just reverse engineered his IoT devices with Opus 5.5, after reading my article this is f*ckin unreal.. Now his whole apartment lives in the MacBook as a live 3D model. Click a lamp in 3D, real one turns on. ACs too. Works with Hue, Home Assistant, Apple... show more

House Control by @0xProbabillity • Your home as a live 3D model: menu bar, MacBook notch, iPhone • Lights: tap, dim, colour. ACs with visible airflow. Scenes • Hue, Home Assistant, Apple Home, Smart Life • Free, open source, no account

Thanks for sharing! There’s an iPhone app for it now too! So your house always stays with you

Amazing tool bro !

Wow, that looks really cool, I want to do that, too

Try yourself bro, I’m sure you will be surprised

wow bro, this looks sick, will test it today !

yeah bro, im sure you will like both an article & an app !

🔥🔥🔥

Insane AI-powered 3D home control. Click to turn on real devices.

Yup. That’s the power of reverse engineering bro

@0xMovez Curious if he had any hiccups with network latency? Always a challenge in big IoT setups like that.

which device was the hardest for opus to crack, and what did it need from the dev to get unstuck?

how does the setup map each physical device to the right object in the model? that's the step i'm most interested in with 3d home controls, especially when a room has several identical bulbs.

Makes total sense

Nice share

Turning an entire apartment into an interactive 3D model is wild. The possibilities for smart home control are huge.

print file new below and watched night car some details, mind you wanted so turned all kept weirding

Makes total sense

Opus 5.5 got not competition

Watch out: if you ever expose the 3D controller outside your home network, lock it behind a VPN or require OAuth; open internet access lets strangers toggle everything.

If it is true, then its Jarvis level.

basically the sims except the power bill is real

centering takes years, good to hear someone gets it

这下出门忘关灯,还能回存档里点一下

looks amazing, can't wait to try this out

bro turned his apartment into a playable video game

The impressive part isn't the 3D, it's that he got local control of devices that were built to only talk to the cloud. Curious how many of those integrations survive the next firmware update.

Cool demo. But what did it cost him? I sell websites to plumbers, so maybe I'm missing it.

sale cycle hits right before specs season, that's no accident
