Somali self pride and confidence is such a remarkably positive thing that everyone that comes across us notices and loves about Somalis. I hope the Somali mentality spreads across the globe and inspire people with inferiority complex and self esteem issues.

Somali man says Somalis are the real natives of Minnesota and that the state’s name actually comes from the Somali words “minan” (home) and “sota” (there she is). “Home, there she is. Minnesota.”

Somali influencer in Minnesota claims the Somali fraud scandal is fake news and it’s actually the US government that stole the money and gave it to Israel. He says Israel controls America and Somalis are being scapegoated. These people will say anything but take responsibility!

🚨#BREAKING Somali Political Groups Announce New Alliance Calling For Self-determination in #Ethiopia Three Somali political organisations have on Sunday announced the formation of a new coalition aimed at advancing self-determination and consolidating political representation for #Somalis in Ethiopia’s Somali state. In a declaration issued in Jigjiga, the #Ogaden National Liberation Front (#ONLF), the Congress for Somali Cause (CSC) and the Somali Regional Democratic Alliance (SRDA) said they had formed the #Somali People’s Alliance for Self-Determination (SPAS), describing it as a unified political, diplomatic and civic platform. The alliance said it was responding to the historical incorporation of Somali territories into the Ethiopian state without the consent of the Somali people and accused successive governments of political exclusion, marginalisation and rights violations. The groups said a period of peaceful engagement following Ethiopia’s 2018 political transition had failed, adding that restraint had now come to an end.

#ONLF is more than a #Somali movement; it is a powerful force for emancipation and freedom in the Horn of Africa and beyond. Committed to the Somali people’s right to genuine self-determination, ONLF stands not only for Somalis but for all oppressed peoples across #Africa and the world. As an #Africanist, revolutionary, and resilient social democratic movement, ONLF continues to advance progressive ideals against all odds. #Freedom #Justice #Resilience”#Ogaden ##Somalia #Ethiopia #UNPO

Somali falsely says Somalis are the real natives of Minnesota and that the state’s name actually comes from the Somali words “minan” (home) and “sota” (there she is). “Home, there she is. Minnesota.” You can’t make this stuff up. The lies are endless.

🇨🇦🇸🇴 Today, I introduced a private member’s bill that would declare July of every year in Canada as Somali Heritage Month! I’d like to thank MP Ahmed Hussen for co-sponsoring this bill with me and for his counsel. I hope that all MPs will support this legislation. Canada is home to many Canadians of Somali heritage. Canadians of Somali descent have left and continue to leave a historic mark on Canada, with contributions that span communities across the country and are reflected in Canada’s economic, political, social and cultural life. If passed, Somali heritage month would give us an opportunity to celebrate that heritage, the role that Canada has played in supporting Somali Canadians and their contributions to Canada.

“I want to tell Somalis that we are another state that has joined the Somali people” says Irro. A “new state” cannot emerge from dismantling Somali unity and history. He says Somaliland can help Somalia. How about number 1, stop relations with UAE & Israel come to the negotiation table. As Irro admits, Somaliland’s people are Somali, the land is Somali & the struggle for Somaliweyn was built with the blood and sacrifices of northerners as much as southerners. You cannot separate yourself from your own blood, history, language & identity while still claiming the Somali name. Our vision is trying to unite the Somali people, from Djibouti to Jigjiga to Garissa. Not create more division ⤵️

Somali man claims that Somalis are the true natives of Minnesota and that the land was promised to them.. ‘Minnesota stems from two Somali words, minan, and sota — which, when combined, means ‘home, there she is” Give me a break 🤣🤣

I have met with dissidents, the president, and people from across the political spectrum in Cuba. Everyone agrees that the collective punishment of the Cuban people is wrong. The US must lift the embargo, allow fuel into Cuba, and build a relationship that benefits all of us.
