He just opens his mouth, and folks stop what they're doin'—cows quit chewin', dogs quit barkin', and even the mosquitoes stop bitin' to listen!

Just love his voice. It’s so smooth and welcoming. He is so underrated

I remember my dad saw him in the early to mid 80s. Just came out in a sweat stained hat, blue jeans, and sung his heart out. Such a counter point to the shiny sequin side of country music of the time. Love it, the voice, the lyrics, and the music did the talking. He didn't need the flash. Thank you sir and RIP.
