"Governor Abiodun and other elective officials in Ogun State should be ashamed of themselves. The roads in Ogun State are so bad, that people are now contributing money among themselves to build roads. This road from MOPOL to Lafenwa is one of the community self-financed roads in Ogun State.

Ogun State Deserves Better: Strong Condemnation of Desperate Plotting by Chief Kensington Adebutu and Otunba Gbenga Daniel Against Senator Solomon Adeola Yayi Ogun people, listen very carefully to the leaked audio conversation between Chief Kensington Adebutu (Baba Ijebu), father of Ladi Adebutu, and Otunba Gbenga Daniel (OGD), former Governor of Ogun State. In this shameful recording, the two are caught red-handed in a disgraceful conspiracy, openly plotting and scheming to undermine, discredit, and eliminate Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi) — the man they fear most as the greatest threat to Ladi Adebutu’s governorship ambition. This is not politics; this is naked treachery. They whine that the game has become “much tougher” because of Senator Yayi. They coldly calculate how Governor Dapo Abiodun’s association is eroding their so-called stronghold in Ogun East. They designate Ogun Central as their battlefield, dissect eligibility technicalities, INEC forms, origins, and “Option B,” while admitting widespread unhappiness with their camp. All in “strict confidence,” desperately clutching at federal power and backroom deals to stop a superior contender. We vehemently and unconditionally condemn Chief Kensington Adebutu, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, Ladi Adebutu, and every individual complicit in this selfish, anti-people conspiracy. Your desperate godfatherism, elitist entitlement, and ruthless plotting against the will of the people will fail woefully. Ogun State is not your family inheritance or personal property to be manipulated at will. Enough of these archaic, destructive tactics that have held our state back for too long! Senator Solomon Adeola Yayi represents the future Ogun truly deserves — a leader with genuine grassroots support, inclusive engagement across religious and traditional lines, and a proven commitment to real development, unity, and equitable governance for all zones. Your fear of him is understandable, because his rising popularity and competence expose the emptiness of your ambitions. A clear message to the plotters: Your conspiracies are exposed. The people are watching. Ogun will no longer tolerate these power-hungry cabals who prioritize personal and family interests over the collective progress of our state. To all citizens of Ogun: Listen to the full conversation. Share it widely. Let the audio be your evidence. Reject these desperate power brokers and their candidate. Rise up for merit, integrity, and progressive leadership. Senator Yayi is unstoppable. The era of godfatherism, manipulation, and elite conspiracies is coming to a shameful end in Ogun State. #YayiForOgun2027 #RejectDesperatePlotters #OgunBelongsToThePeople

Yayi’s stepmother, Alhaja Aminatu Abiola, has come forward to enlighten the good people of Ogun State and set the record straight about the family’s background. She clearly stated that she is the stepmother of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola YAYI. CON, FCA and explained that she is the one who hails from Ekiti State—not Yayi’s father or mother, as some people may have been led to believe. Yayi’s father, popularly known as Oteko, and his mother are both from Ogun State. Her clarification is simply to provide the correct information and put the record straight regarding Senator Adeola Yayi’s family roots. At a time when facts can easily be distorted for different reasons, it is important to listen to the people who are directly connected to the family and allow the truth to speak for itself. Let the facts be the facts, and let the people of Ogun State make their own informed judgment.

Ogun State is the fastest growing economy in this country by any standard. We are the industrial capital of this country by any measure, and yet, if you look at what we receive in terms of FAAC, we are probably in the bottom three. This issue have to be addressed. - Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun

Noimot Salako, You are the deputy Governor of Ogun State and a member of COREN, an Engineer, but look at the road leading to your family house in Ota. Are you not ashamed? You've had ZERO impact and your principal is using Ogun IGR to dye his beards. #DapoFixOgunRoads

This Honorable member is a very useless person, trying to use religion to divide the state. I’m not even surprised, he is an APC member, and they only have two cards: the religion and the tribe card. A very useless person. It is as if Seyi Makinde knew this day would come.
