I remember a scathing article on Akinbiyi in one of the tabloids on the Monday after the match. Still remember the columnist stating that Akinbiyi couldn't hit a cows backside with a banjo

Akinbiyi had all the attributes to be a great premier league striker, except the one that really mattered.

They had some awful strikers. Trevor Benjamin and some Icelandic guy who was equally woeful.

Remember him at Wolves in Championship…had a half decent season scored 16 in 40…was signed to replace Robbie Keane! but was never a great player, missed some sitters, poor first touch…most Wolves fans were thrilled when we got £5.5m from Leicester for him.
