Drivers in Germany and Austria must create an emergency vehicle lane, called a "Rettungsgasse," whenever traffic stops on the autobahn highway

I thought it’s simply common sense to let an emergency vehicle pass

Making laws is easy , implementation is the real deal

Wow that's great solution lol

wow! good traffic manners!

Great

Where I live, even if this type of mature and considerate behaviour was remotely possible to effect, as soon as the last emergency vehicle passed there would be cars piling in behind it which would absolutely cause more accidents in a paradoxical cluster fuck of a shit show

So, why is there an emergency lane on the right if it isn’t for emergency vehicles?

Educatiion and good politics

Wonder why the don't use the hard shoulder (as we call it in the UK)...

That requires way too high a level of social trust to pull off in the U.S.

👍

Now people must be curious to know which country the video clip is from! Here you go; it’s from Slovenia!👏😀

Good

Nice

A particular country left the Group Chat.

This should be here in Canada!!!!

Good 👍

This is life saving ❤️🔥

In Italia non sarebbe possibile, tutti si infilerebbero dietro ai mezzi di soccorso

We in us have been doing this for years but always let them pass on left

"Clear the way! Simple yet lifesaving tactic to prioritize emergency responders"

I'll ask you a question! How do they know that emergency cars come out in advance? If you look at the video, I think it's quite early.

Canada does this

How boring!! Whereras we, in India, make the Emergency vehicle make it's own way skilfully and then tailgate it to rush through the traffic!! 😎

This is called following roils

Not in my lawless country

Emergency vehicle lane formation laws play a vital role in urgent situations.

Here in the UK, however .....

Every country, state, province, region, township, city, town, community, village and hamlet needs to implement this emergency tactic.

Which one is this?

Even if we had that in the UK, Audi drivers would fill it up.

Stupid idea. Traffic starts and stops. Down the road it may be going faster so they will all be within their lanes. The shoulder of the road is always open and you don't have to count on traffic knowing what to do. Stay in your lane, the shoulder is open and the fastest, safest

This should be a law EVERYWHERE!
