This is spring 1932. That season Babe hit 41 HR and batted .341 in 133 games. Six months later the 37 year old Babe used this swing to bomb one off Charlie Root past the Wrigley flag pole in the World Series.

Look at what his swing does in the strike zone. He's totally level when he hits the black line and has a slight lift right after. His eyes mirror the bat movement and his feet are twisting like a dancer. His awkward/ reaching movement comes after the point of contact.
